Plane Curve Traps II for the shapes, Imaginary Crossings for the broad fan shape, S.F.B.M. II for the textures.
14 layers in all, three sets of 4 layers (texture / mask / shape in soft light mode / shape).
Each set of 4 layers merged to single layer in Photoshop and KPT Materializer filter applied.
KPT filter applied separately to broad fan shape and background.
Drop shadows applied in Photoshop as well.

I like what I like and sometimes artwork isn't featured in the regular DDs because it's popular all on it's own
