Description Another commission for , of his character Kaitlyn and ~Phraxus 's character Wicke. He suggested they be for sale at a shop or something so I went with a beachside ht or something.I had a really hard time figuring out the composition and perspective and ended up with a square canvas... but didn't turn out too bad in the end.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning!
Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental
hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the
staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so
they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the
machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on
a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you
and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and
she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if you copy and paste
this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. You
will either get kissed or asked out, if you break this chain u will see a little dead girl in you

I'm so sorry

Yeah, it's nice to see different lighting effects from com to com, it really keeps things from getting repetitive. Again, like the concepts, like the designs. Characters look well done again.

The only real issue I have with it is the building. In this case, the building is close enough to be a prop, and should have a bit more detail work, as those rough edges kind of distract from the subjects. Placement of the shadow from Kaitlyn's arm is also off as well, as it should probably be pushing a bit further out, unless the arm is right next to the leg.

All in all still good, feel like I could be the one stuck here.

Nah, I actually agree with you about the background. It isn't my greatest, and I struggled a lot with the perspective and finding colours for it. It could definitely use some detail work, too. In the end I just had to decide to let it go at some point.

I can understand that, it feels like one of those hard parts about painting. Say, how did you learn digital painting anyways? Classes, Guides, or Experimenting?

I started off on my own many years ago using oekaki... once I got into Photoshop I started getting techniques from different online tutorials. I did study fine arts for 4 years but that was all traditional (my university was really technophobic, bleh). A lot of the principles I learned there apply to to digital painting. Uuuunnnnfortunately my university was also really conceptual and didn't teach a lot in the way of technical skills, so I've been trying to fudge around and learn those on my own. I'm hoping to be able to afford classes elsewhere to make up for that later on, though.

Ah, sounds good. Once I get a replacement pen or another tablet, I may have to try out some of the stuff and search out study materials for that purpose. My digital work is lacking, and my traditional work needs polish.

I'll take 5! Could do with a bit more nozzles, but then again, that's my solution to everything...

These two gals have clearly run afoul of someone with transformational abilities. And a wicked sense of humor.
I really like the painterly quality of the background here, and of course the lovely bulgy roundness of the pooltoy-girls.

How did they get turned into inflatable toys anyway?
