Heyhello Midnight got reworked again. Still pretty much the same, but a little more grown. She no longer needs to wear bandages unless she uses magic, I'll make a reference cannon to her lore for her backstory later. Her lore is still the same, but I might tweak it since she was the first oc I made when I joined the MLP community lol. She's a bit more simple too!

Midnight Azure, also called Azzi by Kenjin, came from a peculiar family. The Azure family has special traits that allow them to do supernatural things as an Earth species. Primarily, the Azure’s are Earth Ponies with dark coloured coats and lighter hair colours that are shades of luminous blue. They do not cut their hair due to family traditionalism, and can live to be over 100 years old.
This unique family has special neurological veins that run through their eyes, which allow them to use a small generated amount of magic. However, if these nerves aren’t developed enough and are forced into use, outcomes can be fatal.
This is what happened with Midnight. When she was young, she was born partially blind, making her neurological magic weak and not fully developed. When she was of age to use her magic for the first time, the nerves in her eyes were severed by the strain of magic, causing her to go completely blind. She is careful to restrain her emotions, for fear of harming herself or others around her with her broken magic.
Her brother, Dusk, as well as her mother, have been her “eyes” for most of her life, and they are all very close to one and other.
In severe cases of extreme emotion, such as sadness, anger, or fear, Midnight can generate a large amount of magic through her eyes, but it causes her to bleed tremendously, which leaves her weak and exasperated for a few days.
Midnight has learned to use her other senses to the best of her ability, and the strongest senses are her sense of hearing and smell.
