In the most recent issue #208 of the GameInformer magazine [link] there are a few pages of advertisements for the new Nintendo 3DS including information about all of the new features . I realized that practically no one in the world has made a 3D model of the 3DS yet and there will certainly be many of these made within the next three years

I wanted to be one of "the first" for a change . I'm still kinda new to 3D modeling and !everything! has been made before by countless other people . Ha . So I was here before this becomes an overly-popular item to model with tutorials on YouTube etc . I know it's a bit of a shallow victory but it's something I will remember when I'm old and telling my grandchildren : "I remember video games before 3D and ocular implants when we used to have to press buttons with our fingers to interact !!"

The Release Date for this amazing pocket-console will be 2011 26 Febuary in Japan and 2011 March in the EU and US.

. you do not need 3D glasses
. the slider bar to the right of the top screen allows you to adjust the 3D effect
. one camera is mounted above the top screen
. two cameras are mounted on the lid surface (behind the screen) which allows you to take and share 3D photographs with other 3DS units
. weighs 8 ounces
. the lower screen is a pen-touch screen
. wireless multiplayer
- wireless downloads and communication
- (wireless on/off switch on side of unit)
. microphones which can be used to control games
. internal motion and gyro sensors
. plays DS game cards and the new 3DS cards
. SD memory card slot
. stereo speakers and headphone jack
. rechargeable internal battery
. parental control will be the same as the DSi
