Getting this under 2 MB required reducing the number of colors slightly but hopefully it will still look like it was meant to.

I think this might end up popular so I wanted to mention, this was done with a script in bash that writes svg text to files and then exports them to png using inkscape. The final gif file was made using gimp like all the others.
