there are a bunch of medals you earn on newgrounds.com if you have an account when you play snailiad.One of them involves beating the game in less than 30 minutes which is possible if you follow some of the speedrun videos on youtube.

it is possible. One person did it in 9 minutes.
There is a glitch that lets people skip major parts of the game and get the super secret boomerang so that the first boss is totally skipped.
