I should mention “METAL STRANGER” is not this machines official name. It never had an official name in Archie. It was built by a heroic version of Eggman in honor of sonic but he never got sonic’s name and just referred to him as “Stranger“ so the name came naturally.Anyway, this Robot Sonic is powered by a chaos emerald and it designed to protect people from vicious, kaiju versions of the Freedom Fighters
