Description
This photo is inspired by the song "Cyclops" of Marilyn Manson (album Portrait of an American Family)I don't know the exact meaning of the song but every time I listen it I am reminded of a woman with her eyes covered and a hole in the forehead
This explains the title and the meaning of the photo.
Photo, model, makeup, ect: me
I was forgetting to say that this work is also in a book called "Art, etc".
The book contains works by various artists and was a gift for Marilyn Manson, he received the book during a concert.

Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
A great work, cold, personal, yet perhaps a bit 'dry' More contrast between the whites and reds, darkening of the hair and bringing forth the 'eye' (or the lack of) with some heavier, stronger lighting.
The make up effects are fantastic and still could be make even more of an impact if more strength in colour was used.
The gauss over the eyes adds a lot of depth to the story, which could be pushed further if the viewer could see where the story is taking place; the figure here seems like she is 'just another' corpse on the morgue examining table. If we could see who's hands are holding the gauss or perhaps more less subtle hints about what happened to her.
As relating to the song, one could almost imagine some running mascara, smudged lipstick and a few more bruises, that is of course if one isnt afraid of terrible clichΓ©s (which Manson does tend to love for all the good reasons).
Overall, a great work! A Good Idea which could mature into something truly fantastic given time and further thought.

I very disturbing image, but mention to do so. Amazing makeup, the prop of the gauze over the eyes is a great addition. Artistically, this is a great job.Β

A very Silent Hill-esque interpretation of the song.
And a better artwork than the original artist's.
Awesome.

Before suggesting this I made a research and I have confirmed dates of submissions. I can say that Cyclops originally belongs to *14th-division . And also, according to what I saw, no one erased her watermark.Β

That watermark on her neck does not draw attention, that's why you didn't see it.Β

my interpretation of 'cyclops' was always that it was about someone being brainwashed by the media. however you interpret it though, this photo goes great with the dark mood of the song.
