Wand: Modeled after a flashlight, this is his wand as well as able to actually be used as a flashlight. He carries it everywhere, usually placing it on his belt or his pocket when not in use.
Badge: Shows he's the MWD (Mahou Wando Detective) It is supposed to be worn around his neck, but he just stuffs it in his pocket anyway.
Lighter: For some reason nobody but him can get it to work, it works by magic activation but apparently is linked to his specific type of magic. He keeps it as a sort of back up wand/light if anything happens to his flashlight.
Ribbon: Given to him by his older sister, it's a keepsake since childhood but something he takes extra care with. Don't touch it. He never takes it off and with the exception of when he's in disguise it will never be seen off his hair in public.

Personality:
You know those rude, no nonsense detectives? That's Joseph. He's insensitive and not one for idle chatter when there's work to be done. Even off the clock he's not one for talking, though it's less of a shyness around people and more just that he doesn't feel the need to talk. He's not one to easily trust, especially with even with all the colorful faces and places around here. But once you get his trust you better make sure you don't betray it, because he takes that stuff very seriously. Despite the obvious confidence he has for what he does (and the fact that he's in Mahou), he is often seen replying to positive talk about himself with rejection and or just saying "gross".

Backstory:
Joseph is a very skilled detective, he's good at his job and enjoys what he does; even if he doesn't look it. He was asked to be the detective at Mahou and while it's not full of huge mysteries, he's fine with doing small little jobs. Easier on him anyway, more downtime. He's definitely not from Mahou but won't really say where he's from. Most he talks about is bits and pieces of how his family was and even then it's very little information.

Trivia:
- His sister was always the creative type and when they were both children actually created little mysteries for Joseph to solve. It's what got him to become a detective. They both read detective novels as well.
- Clue, his lil Kleptini buddy, was from his first mystery when he arrived at Mahou Wando; his wand had gone missing and he found it in possession of that lil guy hiding under his desk. Clue now comes with him everywhere, even on cases. Somehow Joseph is good at keeping Clue from stealing anything.
- The disguise is hardly ever used, and he makes sure that nobody knows it's him. The only tell he has is his eyes, which are unable to change. The magic spell changes his voice, his clothes and his ribbon manifests a hat, which the ribbon wraps around as the band. His hair also considerably shortens and goes from a black to a brown.
- His birthday is November 1st.
