I had fun making this pic. This was a request from MegaMovieMonday, link: megamoviemonday.deviantart.com… , where it involved a mashup of two characters from one franchise and a scene from another, and blending them together. I remade the drowning scene from the Disney movie Aladdin, but replaced Prince Ali/Aladdin with Rin Okumara and the Genie with Mephisto Pheles, both characters from the anime/manga Blue Exorcist. It was a challenge to get both Rin and Mephisto into these roles and into the outfits of those they're portraying, but I managed to get it done. Honestly, I've never seen Mephisto shirtless before in the anime, so I decided to outfit him with something different than what the Genie only wore. I fitted him with a sleeveless shirt overlayed with a vest, placed a sash around his waist, and put a turban on him. I traditionally left the cuffs on him, as Mephisto is supposed to be Rin's genie in this portrayal. I sort of free-lanced with the background of the pic, as looking back at the original scene, it's background was made up of only the seafloor and the wall of the cliff Aladdin was thrown from.
