Description
So you've spend HOURS and HOURS making a render in DAZ. Those damned GPUs take FOREVER, and now you've noticed you need to make a change. Whether it's an unexpected or inconspicuous rendering artifact, or the desire to make your model wink or pout instead of smile, you DO NOT need to render the WHOLE image again. Rending a smaller piece goes much faster, so only render what you HAVE to. Save time, save electricity, save your sanity!
This tutorial demonstrates how to implement SPOT RENDERING to only render what's been changed. Then, save the output and edit it into the original using software like GIMP (free) or Photoshop (not free) or some other simple image editor that supports layers.
NOTE: I use NVIDIA's iray for my renders, but this should apply to 3Delight or other render engines as well.
