We have many projects that encourage our awesome members to give comments and get comments. These projects involve workshops, features, chat events, contests and, more importantly, systems that rely on interchange, inclusion and interaction.
To both give and get comments is no easy task, but, with the many projects that we have here, we hope that you find something that works best for you. If not, why not make a suggestion by noting us?
Additionally, if you have any questions or anything else at all, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Our Values
Our awesome admins and members give comments and get comments with the following values in mind:
Interchange
…to restore balance – comment for comment, positive and negative, give and take.
Inclusion
…to accept all
Where you start and what you do in ProjectComment is entirely up to you!
We don't ask our members to comment 24/7. We understand that life is busy, especially when it takes time, effort and more to give and get constructive comments.

I'm excited to see how this group works, and thank you for the invite. Though I did read the rules I'm still a bit confused on where I should be participating. I don't have any art to post here at least for now, but I definitely want to give critiques since I have the time to do so. What should I be doing or where should I go to just give critiques?

This project of yours is very interesting! Is a very nice initiative since so many times a comment can save a work in progress or help to evolve and is quite nice to receive appreciation for something you spend hours on. Thou I need to admit the diagram is a little bit confusing the main points are clear. Love this idea, I'm gonna engage myself and comment more!

Thank you very much for your kind words! I agree with you that feedback is necessary. As you said, it can save a work in progress, or help an artist involve, not just in their art, but also their reviewing/commenting skills.
It is difficult for us to convey everything we want to convey to our members. We did it through words, but people don't have the time to read that, which is why this visual guide was created. At the same time, I understand it is confusing. It is our ideal wish to have someone draw cartoon strips for us instead, but ah well.

Basically, we encourage people to give and get comments through our projects. Each project has its own guidelines. A lot of people just want to submit to our gallery for constructive comments, which is fine. If you want to do that, please comment on a deviation in the gallery and link us to the deviation you commented so we know!
A constructive comment is a minimum of 200 words, which is around 6-7 lines. 7+ lines is closer to 400+ words.

Thanks for the invite this seems like it will be helpful. Just to understand the whole give and get comments, I have to send a note to the group saying that I have commented on another artist in the group's artwork in order to submit my own artwork. Is that right?
