It took some time but finally I made my dream car. As a base I took my previous R8 [link] which could be way better, I thought. I think I achieved my goal with this one... It looks stock until you compare it with the original R8 again.Stock image; [link]

It probably could but since it isn't light it won't happen. And to be honest, I don't need one that goes that quick. One that drives well is better and this really does that trick

Hehe, it does. It's all about the way it looks. It would be hugely unpractical, cause it's really low, the rims are too big and there isn't much rubber on them

Hmm, I don't think you are.. I think you've watched it from a practical point of view. If I had to make a compromise between looks and practicality it would have looked a bit different (higher, bigger tires and smaller rims you know) but then it more like the original and not much of a modification. This one is all about the way it looks.

Depends on which side of the bumper you mean, the left side is alright but I think you mean the right. I guess the light in this picture comes from the right because the sky is more orange there. So I think the shadow wouldn't be right underneath the car but a bit to the left.

I'm glad you like it as much as I do! At the time I made the old one I thought it was great but I don't think so at the moment, love this one.. Rims are from the V12 concept but they should be on the standard R8 too, really like them.
