Gone Forever?

"I must say Naruto I am impressed. I'm so proud that you finally fulfilled your promise." Kakashi beamed. "You did good kid" Jiraiya said smiling.
“Thanks sensei!! You too Pervy-Sage!!" Naruto grinned. The three were walking through the halls of Konoha Hospital to Sasuke's room.
"This is almost too good to believe" Naruto whispered as he reached for Sasuke's room.

Naruto almost collapsed on the spot. He almost broke down crying. He almost buried his face into his sensei's chest and cried.

The window wide open.

And Sasuke was gone.

Naruto couldn't believe this. He just worked his ass off to get Sasuke back, and he runs away. Sorrow turned into anger. Anger let itself out through red chakra.
"Now Naruto calm down, you'll kill yourself burning so much red chakra" Kakashi said as Naruto went from two tails to three tails.
"NO!!!!!!" Naruto jumped out the window leaving Jiraiya and Kakashi to hope he won't hurt himself.

About 15 miles away Sasuke Uchiha was on the verge of collapsing as well. The doctors had told him if he moved too much in this condition he would kill himself.
Beads of sweat rolled down his face as he struggled to keep moving. Everything was burning. Especially the scars under his eyes.
Suddenly a spray of blood shot out of Sasuke's mouth and he collapsed.
"So this is it eh? I'm gonna die here?" he whispered to himself. Time seemed to drag on forever for the missing-nin, and he felt himself slowly and painfully loosing his life.
Seconds turned to minutes and soon to hours.
At this point blood was continuously running from Sasuke's mouth as he lay on the ground.

"Sasuke?" A familiar voice came to the dying ninja's ears.
"Sasuke it's me Karin, what happened to you?" She asked. "T-take me b-back" Sasuke managed to say. Karin pulled his arm over her shoulder and started to walk slowly.
