// 3  Years After The Failed Sasuke Retrieval Mission//

“Naruto…is that you? Come in.” Jiraiya called as 22 year old Naruto Uzumaki walked into the office. Naruto looked around. He hated it. He hated the fact that he was about to replace the person who gave herself for him. “Naruto sadly on your last mission Tsunade……well- you know. The elders and I have spoken and we have decided that you are indeed a reasonable choice for the spot of Hokage. So congratulations Naruto….or should I say Lord Hokage” Jiraiya laughed as he got up from behind the massive desk. Naruto bowed. “Thank You sir” Jiraiya looked somewhat surprised. “Aw come on Naruto it has been your dream to become hokage! Be happy! Come on! You spend most of your time out of the village training just for this!” Jiraiya yelled patting Naruto on the back. The Hokage glanced at Jiraiya quickly then walked out.
Outside Kakashi waited for Naruto to tell him what had happened. Naruto walked out of the mansion and began to walk right past Kakashi. “Hello…Naruto! Wait up! Hey I haven’t seen you in over six months and you just walk away from me like that?? What happened??” Kakashi yelled as he ran next to Naruto. “I was accepted as the hokage.” Naruto said coldly. “Wow that’s great kid! Tell you what I’ll treat you to ramen ok?” Kakashi yelled ecstatically. “No thank you” Naruto said as he walked a little ahead of Kakashi. The jonin gave up trying to follow him.
Naruto just said no to ramen……….

//4 months later//

Naruto sat at his desk signing some papers, filling out some reports, and such. It was a slow day and half the jonin in the village where mission-less.  Suddenly Kakashi barged into his office.
How unlike Kakashi to just barge in like that….
“NARUTO!! WE HAVE AN ATTACK ON US DOWN AT THE SOUTH GATE!!!! WE HAVE REASONS TO BEIEVE THE AKATSUKI IS BEHIND IT!” Kakashi yelled as he skidded to a stop in front of Naruto’s desk. “The Akatsuki?” Naruto whispered.

“That's where you're wrong Naruto. I'm through with killing Itachi. I'm his partner now. I'm the newest member of the Akatsuki now.”

“Sasuke….” Naruto said to no one in particular. “What?” Kakashi looked confused. “Listen Naruto if you don’t do something now this village is going down!” He yelled. Naruto nodded and got up from behind his desk. “Follow me” Kakashi yelled, jumping out the window. Naruto followed.

Naruto couldn’t believe the destruction that had taken place in the past 30 seconds. The south gate was practically shattered, and people were running for their lives. He and Kakashi struggled against the crowd trying to get to who ever the heck was doing this.
Kakashi pushed past people, doing his best to keep Naruto close to him “Naruto no matter what you do don’t get too far from me. The Akatsuki is probably here for you and-“Kakashi turned around. “Naruto? Oh shit” He looked around…...no Naruto anywhere. Kakashi broke into a run. “NARUTO!!” He ran ahead and suddenly ran into a clearing.
And there he saw it. “SASUKE!!”
Sasuke was standing there holding Naruto in the air with one hand, and chakra burning on the fingertips of the other hand.  He looked in Kakashi’s direction. “Ah Kakashi just in time! Let me show you something that I picked up from that gutter Orochimaru” He laughed. Naruto struggled his grip. Kakashi took out a kunai and broke into a run.
Shit for all I know Sasuke could kill him!

“FIVE PRONGED SEAL!”

Blood curling screams came from Naruto as Sasuke pierced his fingers into his stomach. Kakashi grabbed Naruto by the collar and pulled him out of Sasuke’s grip.
“Naruto, are you ok?” Kakashi growled laying the hokage onto the ground.  He sat up, but fell back down in pain. “Dammit” Kakashi into his pocket, searching for anything to help at the moment. “HEY REMEMBER ME?!” A voice came from behind him. He turned around only to see his former student charging at him with a sword. He threw Naruto over his shoulder and jumped, barely missing the attack. “Shit” Kakashi cursed under his breath. “Sasuke stop this madness!!” He yelled in attempt to hold off for a second or two. “heh whether you like it or not I’m gonna kill Naruto right here, right now. So watch out Kakashi Hatake I will kill him” Sasuke laughed.
