Part 6

“WH-what?!” the missing-nin muttered, becoming slightly alarmed by the intense aura leaking out of Kyo. “As much as he pretended not to….Senji was…..” Kyo growled, tears pouring out of his eyes “Senji was the only one….to ever look at me as someone…….as a true friend….and you…” Kyo looked accusingly at the ninja “YOU KILLED HIM!!!!” Kyo began to burn a chakra he didn’t ever remember using before. His byakugan began to burn at the rate his chakra was burning around him “You die here” the Hyuuga growled. “h-heh th-there’s no way your going to kill me boy!” the ninja smirked trying to hide the fear in his voice. “Yeah? Watch me you bastard” Kyo growled. He closed his eyes and pulled together a stance he had seen his uncle do once. He felt the chakra gather around him. “Eight Trigram” he growled between clenched teeth “One-Hundred-” the Hyuuga wasn’t too sure he even knew the technique properly but he was ready to do anything a this point. “ONE-HUNDRED-TWENTY-EIGHT PALMS!!!!” he screamed as his eyes shot open.
Prepare to die bitch

Oh god…. I wake up to an enormous headache. And this chakra I’m feeling…..it’s crazy……the aura of the chakra hits me the second I wake up. It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before. It’s overwhelming…like……like……like inner gates……Senji!! He….it has to have been him. Senji must have opened an inner gate or two….or five…..it has to have been Senji. There is no way Kyo could have possibly pulled it off….

“ONE-HUNDRED-TWENTY-SEVEN-PALMS!!”
What on earth?! With much difficulty I sit up.

“EIGHT-TRIGRAM ONE-HUNDRED-TWENTY-EIGHT –PALMS!!!!”
And the first thing I see is a body that flies over me and lands someplace behind me…..looked like the rouge ninja.
I look straight ahead…....KYO!! I jump up he’s alive!! “Kyo you’re alive!!” I half yell over to him……he looks different……is it his byakugan…no…..it’s something else……..there’s visible chakra around him…..that must be it….having visible chakra……that’s some thing big……could it be that Kyo was the one that opened his inner gates? No. Kyo looks up at me as I call his name. At first he smiles but the smile dies off of his face as fast as it came. “Kyo….what’s wrong?!” I call as I run over to him. He must be shaken from his fighting. I throw my arms over his shoulder and pull him into a hug. “Kyo thank god you’re alive…..” I whisper as I bury my face into his neck. Kyo takes a couple of deep breaths……he’s crying….. “Kyo what’s wrong why are you-Kyo….Kyo where’s Senji?” I whisper. I look around…..Senji….he’s not….here….
I grab Kyo by the shoulders “KYO WHERE’S SENJI?!?!” I scream at him. Could Senji have-No…no way no one could take my Senji down that easy “KYO WHERE IS HE?!” I scream at him. He hangs his head as tears continue to leak out of his eyes. He slightly gestures behind himself. No…..no…..it can’t be……Senji can’t be- I push past him and see a broken body. “SENJI!!!” the scream manages to escape me. Oh my god…….. I drop to my knees and stare at his broken body. Oh my god his eye! I turn to look at Kyo “Kyo WH-what happened to him?!” I half scream. He looks away from me. “SENJI!!!!! Oh my god, Senji please no…..Senji…….please…..” Tears pour out of my eyes. This can’t be happening. “Senji…” I whisper as I bury my face into his chest. “Sen….please wake up….please…..” I whisper out of desperation……if he left me then…….I would go crazy. The tears just flow out of my eyes onto his chest…….and just then………hope flickered…………….as a precious sound came to my ears………………a single beat……a single breath, and that was all that I needed. My head shot up from his chest. I turned to Kyo “He’s alive” I whisper, my voice shaking. His eyes shoot open “wha-oh my god....Senji” he half whispers as he drops to his knees. “We have to find a hospital around here” I whisper, tears now pouring out of my eyes in happiness he’s alive. “What?! Where are we gonna find a hospital??!! We’re in the middle of nowhere in case you didn’t notice!” Kyo half screams. “I don’t care we’re ninja aren’t we?! Last time I looked we could travel at the speed of light if we tried!!” I scream at him. This has to work, Senji has to live. Kyo looks at me questioningly “But-“ “IF YOU CARE ONE BIT ABOUT ME YOU’LL DO THIS KYO!!” I scream as loud as I possibly can. Kyo stops and just looks down “Sorry…” I can’t believe Kyo was just leaning towards the idea of letting Senji die. The tears continue to run down my face. Mixed emotions of anger, joy, and pain run through me. I let my head drop….. I swear if anything happens to Senji……just the thought of it makes tears swell in my eyes.
“Well then why are you just sitting there? If we’re gonna find a hospital we better get going” I hear above me. Looking up I see Kyo scooping Senji up in his arms. Senji’s blood immediately begins to soak into his clothes but he doesn’t care. That last thing I said…….it might have been a bit harsh but he took it seriously. “Are you coming or not?!” Kyo’s voice snaps me back into reality. I wipe my eyes with my sleeve and stand up. “Let’s go” I say quietly. Kyo nods and looks around with his byakugan for a while. “Hm….a few miles from here there’s a cabin of some sort…..we might find help there.” He says calmly as he points to the right. I’ve never seen him so serious before. “Kyo…..” I whisper as I reach for his shoulder. But before I put my hand on it he darts off in the direction of the cabin.
He……he truly does care.
