We could say his philosophy is Lawful Good (which doesn't mean "Lawful Nice"), but his personality is Chaotic Good.
Note: That line of his is a misuse of the word "Armageddon." Just like the word "Apocalypse," people misuse that term. Just the same, the movie 'Armageddon' has precisely zilch to do with war in the valley of Megiddo.

Rorschach is more Lawful Neutral (or maybe even Lawful Evil being that he does some very morally questionable things.) And let's not forget how this guy died.

No, he's Chaotic. Lack of respect for authority+killing police+bouncing back and forth between hero and villain=Chaotic. Rorschach is Chaotic. I do agree that he's Neutral however, and thusly would say Rorschach is Chaotic Neutral.

Not to mention that he was about to kill the fat landlady just for lying about Rorschach threatening to rape her on live TV. Which is dumb, but he takes things too personally. The only reason he didn't kill her was because her children are with her, thinking of his own mother, he sees her as a better mother than his. She probably regretted the lie, cause she was crying for almost getting killed for using her profession as a defense mechanism.
