Chapter four: Raven!

He flew all day until the sun was near the horizon and on a sliver of bright light sparkled over the sea. The day had gone fast, he thought, but it was worth it, as the blue water tower came into view labeled Neration in Bold Black letters.
He landed toward the bottom and walked underneath it. He bent down and observed the ground. He knew that she had to get under ground somehow. He rubbed his hands along the wet soil and felt a slit in the ground, it felt like a crack of a door, small, but big enough for an ant to crawl through. He morphed into a pale green crawling critter and squeezed in.
He crawled along the walls and found nothing but cold damp rock, a few facets stuck out of the wall here and there. He simply dodged each of them. Being an ant he was starting to lose which way he came in, and which turns he had taken. He tried not the focus on that, instead he just tried to find Raven.
He followed the tunnels until he heard a deep eco coming from up ahead. Slades Voice was firm and threatening. He could just make out what he was saying
" I'll ASK you one more time Raven. Will you Join me, or do I need to force you too?"
The next word made Beast boy's stomach tense up. It made a swirl of sadness and anger build up in his mind.
"You won’t need to force me...You will have to kill me."
It was Raven, Her voice sounded shattered, He could feel her pain. She sounded tired and beaten. He wanted to lunge out at Slade so bad but he knew that would be bad for both of them.
"Very well then."
Beast boy heard a harsh and sharp smack on Raven cheek. He morphed back into a human and nearly jumped from behind the corner, but her could just hear Robins voice echo in his mind telling him to stay back.
He waited, listening to the evil voice of Slade faded into the distance, along with his metal boots pounding on the ground.
Beast boy turned the corner, and looked around for Slade. He was gone. He then turned and saw a bright light Shining down on a horrible display. It was Raven, tied to a wooden post tightly by layers and layers of thick rope. Her hood was down on her shoulders and her hair look as if it had been pulled several times over. Her head was down so he couldn't see her entire face.
"Raven!" He cried running towards her.
He gently lifted her head. He saw several scars along the sides of her cheeks with massive bruising. Her lip was cut and bleeding along with another cut just under the eye.
Her eyelids slowly opened. They look tired and slightly red, as if she had been crying.
" B...Beast boy?"
She mumbled.
Her face relaxed and a small smile appeared across her lips.
" Don't worry, I'm getting you out of here."
" But...Slade!"
"Don't think about him right now, Its just you and me."
Another soft smile faded onto her face. Beast Boy ran around the back of the post and began untangling the tight knot. As it losend Raven Nearly fell to the ground with exsusten but beast boy caught her and wrapped his arms arround her.
"I got you. don't worry, Its going to be all right."
Ravens smile became slightly bigger as he lead her through the dark tunnels. 15 minutes past and Beast Boy tried his hardest to remember where he had come in, but he couldn't. Each tunnel looked the same. Suddenly there was a loud “BANG”. The ground Shook knocking Beast boy off his feet.
"Raven!" He yelled as he saw her fly from his arms, and Giant bits of debris and boulders fell between them.
"Oh calm down, She just on the ground now and not in your arms, no harm done."
Slades Voice echoed in the distance. Beastboy was filled with Rage. He wanted that voice gone, What he had done to Raven was unforgivable.
" Where are you Slade! I’m going too..."
"Wonderfull, I can see you coming along nicely, Learning how to let your anger fill you. careful, don’t what to let that big bad wolf unleash now do we?" He gave a slight smirk.
"Come out!" Beast Boy was screaming at the top of his lungs now.
"No I have have better plan in mind."
Suddenly a bright light shot on Beast Boy's body. At first he guarded with his eyes with his arm but then something happened. He was losing himself. He was still thinking but his body wasn't listening. He had no control of his own limbs.
Beast Boy's body stood up and changed into a cheetah then jumped over the debris and stood in front of Raven. She very slightly lifted her head. The Cheetah ran at her. She turned just in time to deflect him.
" Mind control, isn't lovely, how you can make such good friends turn on each other."
" Stop it...Slade!"
Raven said struggling against the force of the cheetah. She couldn't hold on, She rolled to the side, and the Cheetah charged into the stone wall. All of her limbs were sour. She felt blood drip from her cheek. She quickly wiped it away and turned towards Beast boy who was just getting up. Raven Slowly pushed herself up right just in time to see Beast boy run at her again. She flicked her wrist and Beat boy morphed back into his human form and jerked toward the wall. Raven pinned him there. he wasn't high on the wall, just high enough so his feet didn't touch the floor.
"Beast boy don't make me hurt you, I don't want to!"
He didn't listen. His eyes were a pale white. His arms and legs were kicking and punching trying to escape. Though inside, the real beast boy was trying his hardest to get control of his body, He tried to yell to Raven to run but I just barely came out in mumbles.
" Ra...ven...ru.n..!"
The mind control took over his speech and his words turned to thundering roars of a lion, but his body stayed a human.
" I'm not running, I'm not going to leave you here. Please, fight it Beast boy, fight it!"
"He’s not going to listen to you. His body is completely under my control."
Raven ignored Him.
" Beast boy, come back to me! Remember all those jokes you would always tell me, I actually thought that some of them were funny."
She started slowly walking to him.
"Your wasting your time Raven, There's nothing you can say or do to bring him back. He’s gone, live with it."
Raven didn't respond to Slades comment, she just kept walking towards Beast Boy's puppet controlled body.
"and you have always been nice to me even though I don't always see it, and..."
She was now really close and whispering.
"and...oh Beast boy come back...I need you...I..."
She said nothing for a minute, hesitation, thinking very carefully on what her next words were to be.
"Save your breath Raven, You're going to need it when He eventually tries to kill you again."
The body struggled even more. Ravens arm was shaking, It was as if she was lifting a 30 pound weight, but she couldn't drop it.
She finally looked into Beast Boy's Pale eyes and grabbed his jaw to straighten his face from thrashing around.
"I love you."
Then she leaned in and kissed him. For a second, nothing happened, He was still resisting, but then Beast Boy's pale eyes soon became dark green again, His mind was cleared. He could move and feel, He felt the warm touch of Ravens lips to his. He was slightly confused but at this point he didn't care, all he knew is that Raven was kissing him and He needs to return the favor. He closed his eyes and put his hand on her cheek to tilt her head up to his. Raven slowly let Beastboy down from the hard wall put her hands around his shoulders.
Slade said nothing. His plan had failed. He thought that the death of two titans fighting each other would be enough to kill off the other three. But he chooses the wrong titans. He had chosen more than just friends that liked each other, He had chosen BeastBoy and Raven. two titans that can never be separated, they are never lost if they have each other and they are in love. He had lost, and he knew it. He clicked a button to unlock the titans tower and slipped away into the darkness from where he came.
They each kissed each others lips one more time then slowly moved away from each other and opened their eyes. Each with a dumbstruck look on their faces. What had just happened they thought. Raven stepped back, Her cheeks flaming red.
" umm...sorry."
Beast Boy stared at her a minute then scratched the back of his head.
" Yeah, me too, sorry."
