Chapter three: Neration

Robin, Starfire and cyborg were pacing back and forth.
" Are you certain there is no way to contact Beast boy?"
" Sorry Star, If Slade has taken over the titans tower security then none of our communicators will be able to work."
Suddenly Robin stopped pacing.
" except one."
"What?"
" follow me."
Starfire and cyborg followed him through the halls of the darkened tower from the windows being covered by the security shields, Their footsteps echoed in empty rooms, They past both Beast boys and Raven room.
" I do hope our friends are safe."
" Me too star."
Cyborg looked back at both Beastboy and Raven doors with their names in fine print lable in black lettering.
" Me too." he repeated.
They followed Robin to a room that hadn't been looked through for a while. Robins evidence room. Starfire and Cyborg stopped at the doorway and looked around. everything was covered in a thin layer of dust with memories unfolding uncontrollably. Robin continued walking straight to probably the most dirty thing in the room, It was a pedestal with a glass bowl covering an grey long cylinder with 7 separate red buttons on the base of the object. He handed it to cyborg.
" this should work."
"what is it?" cyborg asked.
" I plucked it off of control freak last time we saw him. it is supposed to be able to communicate to anyone anywhere no matter what is in the way. He used it to talk to movie characters."
" ok, weird." Cyborg said lifting an eyebrow
" but how do we use this device to communicate with Beast boy?" Starfire asked observing the grey cylinder.
"I thought that first we should try to call his titans phone in his belt, and if that doesn't work, well we will have to think of something."
" I hope this does work."
Cyborg plugged to cylinder into his arm and typed in The number for Beast boys belt.

Beast boy was flying overhead of city looking for the water tower he saw in his dream, then he heard a one beep, then another, and another. He landed in a park and answered the belt.
" what?"
"yes, we got him!" Cyborg said in relief.
" Look I can do this on my own, I need to."
"well, you don't really have much choice BB, Slade locked us in titans tower. Were lucky to be able to talk to you." Cyborg added.
Robin jumped into the conversation.
" do you need any help tracking down Slade."
" I'm not tracking down Slade...I finding Raven.”
He said correcting Robin.
“and yeah actually just a little. Do you guys know where a water tower is with the label Nera on it?"
" a Nera water tower? I don't think so." Robin said trying to think back to past encounters with Slade.
Starfire interrupted.
" Wait, Beast Boy, do you mean water building with the letters that spell out Nera?"
" Yeah, do you know of it?."
" I know where that is located, and it is not called the Nera water building, It is call the Neration water building, I believe that it is south of the central park."
" I'm at central park now. Thanks Star!"
" Wait Beast boy, Slade said that you going after Raven was part of his plan, I think that maybe you should come back to the tower and we all try to find a way for you to get in and us to get out, then we can look for her once we think this through."
"look...Robin, I know you're trying to look out for the team, but, right now I'm just worried about Raven. I need to save her. I don't care if Slade has a death trap waiting for me."
Starfire voice was shaky
" but if he does then you both might...die."
Beast boy said nothing for a minute, then broke the silence.
" At least she will finally know...how much I care for her. I'm not sure if guys have guessed it yet but, I love her."
everyone was silent for a moment then beast boy spoke again.
" I know you guys want us to be safe, but right now no one is safe, Raven isn't safe."
Beastboy wasn't sure but he thought he heard a whimper from Starfire, as if she was about to cry, He had to get going, the sun was setting quickly and he couldn't stand all the emotional stress.
“I better get going, hopefully I at least get Raven back, and... If she gets back without me, by someone else like aqualad or bumble bee...tell her...Tell her what I said...thanks for the info star."
" Beast boy wait!"
but the phone hung up. He held the phone in his hand for a minute, then set in down on the bench next to him. He started to walk away when he saw a small kid standing and staring at him in amazement. Beast Boy smiled, then gave a casual salute to the kid, and the small boy saluted back, then Beast morphed into an bird, and began flying south.
