Description
Chapter two:

The T ship lanched into space, Beastboy sat at his controls looking out the window. Raven's pod was across from his, She looked at him. She couldn't see him clearly untill the T ship came a bit closer to the sun, Its light caught Beastboys face, His eyes glisened, his smile was perfect, She felt her heart pound faster in her chest, she quickly looked away, she knew she was blushing. Was that really Beastboy? He looks...handsome. She though slightly smileing.
" So what is this all about exactly?" Beastboy asked
" Tameran has told us that their is a new inhabited plantet now to far from their own, It has threated war aginst Tameran and they need our help to find out what the planet wants." Robin Replied
" Oh, so more alians then?" Beastboy asked again, Everyone just turned and stared at him.
"uhh...heh heh, forget I said anything."
Suddently a beeping sound came from Robins pod.
" Titans, Incoming!"
Each titans looked up and saw a fleat of ships come raising towards them. They had a sort of green glow to them. They shot a canon at the ship and suddently the team had no controll.
" I cant stear us away, were being towed!"

As the T ship landed, They were able to get out of the ship, but the first thing the titans did was try to pick a fight, Beastboy changed into a lion and jumped at one of the escorts, Raven pushed two of the gards back and wrapped them in a black covering, Robin and Starfire fought off a couple with hand to hand combate, Cybor shot a laiser at one that was fighting Beastboy, Suddently they were all wrapped in a yellow covering. Beastboy changed back to his Human form They couldn't move. Then they heard a deep voice.
" Bring all of them forward."

The titans were taken to a hall much like a palece. Each of the titans were lined up shoulder to shoulder. A rather large man covered in muscle sat in a chair covered in jems and jewls. He leaned forward and took a good look at each of the titans.
" why are you here?" He asked.
" Why to you perpose war to Tameran?" Stafire yelled, her eyes glowing green.
The man smiled. He began to answer but another man leaded to his ear and whispered something that made his face plain. He looked seriously at the titans.
" which one is the animal changer?"
Beastboys eyes widened, Raven saw that he was shocked, and slightly scared, but then his eye brows narrowed and he bravly walked forward infront of the team.
" Me. I'm the animal changer."
The Man grined then waved his hand. Beastboys yellow cover fellt from his body along with thte rest of the teams.
"uhh. does this mean that we can go?"
The Man waved his hand again and four capsuals slid over the remaining titans. Beastboy jerked around.
"Hey!" He ran the capsuals and tried to break them but they shocked him away.
" let them go!" He yelled and ran at the man in the chair but he was shocked awayfrom him as well.
" I am to make a deal with you."
Beastboys head looked up, his eyebrown were in an angered look, his eyes were thretning.
" what is it?" He asked
" you can change into any beast, yes?"
Beastboy nodded
" perfect, You shall go up against our personal animal changer by sunrise in the form of a ternement."
"What!" He yelled
" If you suceed, we will not only realease your friends, we will call off the attack on Tameran."
" Why do you go to all the troble?" Raven asked through the capsual.
The man grined.
" entertainment."
Ravens eyes widened. Beastboy look strait into the mans eyes.
" do we have a deal?" the man asked through his evil grin.
" what if I say no?"
the mans grin staied on his face and he waved his hand. Suddently, All the oxegen inside the Capsuals was sucked out into Space. Each titan fell to their knees gasping for air. Beastboy lunged at his friends, He tried to hit the capsual open again but it just pushed him away. Raven looked up at him grabing her through hoping for air, She placed her hand on the glass as if to beg him to make it stop.
" STOP!" He screamed at the man.
He waved his hand and the capsuals were filled with oxegen again. The team was leaning against the glass gasping in air in relife.
" let me ask again, do we have a deal?"
Beastboy looked back at the rest of the team, Robin shook his head at him but then Beastboy directed his sight to Raven, he saw the fear in her eyes as they looked into his.
Beastboy closed his eyes as he turned his body to the thrown.
" I except your challenge."
The man smiled and looked down on him.
" You will treated as a king untill morning, your friends will be taken to their cells. They will be out of their glass containers but their will still be an oxegen sphere around them, so if they try to escape, or if you don't complete the challeng, they are dead." The man smirked.
The capsuas of glass disapeared but they each still felt their air supply insalated.
" Take tyhe prisoners to thier cells."
One of the gards pushed the rest of the team down a dark hall.
Beatboy stood infront of the buff man.
" it is getting late, you should rest for the morning."
Beastboy looked down the dark hall way.
"let my most trusted friend, Manrch, show you to your room."
A man steped forward, He wore a long brown robe with green exstenctions along the front, His eyes were teal and his blond hair was pulled into a pony tail and his bangs hung over his eyes.
" this way please." His voice sounded timid and weak.
As he walked by beastboy he could tell that he was just as tall as himself. Beastboy followed the man down a different hall way then the one the other titans were taken down, it was decorated with warm glowing lights and painting along the walls. Each held a portrate of similar looking strong men.
" who are all these guys?" Beastboy asked
" former rulers of Recon." Manrch answered not makeing eye contact.
" so thats what this pit is called." Beastboy said with a deadly tone, but Manrch didn't flinch.
Soon they both came up to a rather large door. The man claped his hands together and the door spit apart. He walked in followed by beastboy looking arouns at the green curttens and green lamps wich gave off a green glow.
" Does this satisfie you?" Manrch asked.
Beastboy looked at the man and narrowed his eye browns.
" The only satifaction I could be feeling right now, is to know that my friends lives arn't hangging by a thread." He sneered Manrch.
" you are fond of them?" asked Manrch
Beastboy looked at his shoocked.
" yes of course, Their my friends, why wouldn't I be?!"
" I envy you, I have never felt the true feeling of friendship, The closets person I have had for a friend is the ruler of Recon." Manrch said putting folded currtens in the closet.
" Some friend." Beastboy smirked feirsly.
Manrch stoped and stood infront of the closet.
" Have you ever felt...love?"
Beastboy looked at him puzzled.
" what do you mean?"
" Love, you know, to have certain feelings towards another person, more than friendship."
Beastboy looked towards the ground.
" well, yes, once, a long time ago, but she was lieing, well, sort of lieing. Another..." He sat on the bed covered in green sheets shaped in a circle.
" Another I am feeling now, but I just don't know how to tell her."
Manrch walked over to the bed and sat on it as well.
" their is this one girl, that I think I love, She is a rosen, what we call very pretty girls here, but, she would never fell the same for me."
" why not?" beastboy asked
" because, I am a nothing, The king said it himself, and if I haven't felt friendship yet, how can i feel love." Manrch looked at th ground.
Beastboy noticed that this man wasn't like the others, he was different, he jus did what he was told and beastboy could tell he had regrets towards his line of work.
"whats her name?" Beastboy asked
" Endalen." Manrch smiled.
" She has long glisening blond hair, and her eyes are as dark as the night sky. Oh her smile lights my heart so."
Beastboy gave a small smile.
" and yours, what is you loves name?"
Beastboy stoped and looked at the ground.
" Raven, her name is Raven."
" will you tell me of her?" Manrch pleaded looking up at Beastboy.
" Her hair is a beautiful shade of violet, Her eyes match and they glisen in the moon light, Her skin is a beautiful ivory color, One of the most beatuful girls I have ever scene. Only, I don't think she knows how beautiful she is." Beastboy gave a small smirk.
" And She never really gets my jokes, she still doesn't get that the reason I still tell them to her is just to get her to smile for me, just once, but all she sees in me is an anoying little boy." He fell back on the bed.
" is she one of your firends that came with you?"
Beastboy sat up.
" yeah, which one do you think she is?"
" the one dressed in blue?"
Beastboy smiled and noded.
" yeah, thats Raven."
Manrch smiled, but it soon changed to a frown.
" The king is wrong, He is not right for the thrown. The only reason he declared war on tameran was for fun, even if Tameran asked for a clear reason he would still bomb their cities. And now he is putting you and your friends lives at danger as if its a game."
Manrch stood up.
" I am sorry."
" Its not your fault." Beastboy asured.
" The least I can do is let you see your friends, aspecially Raven before Sun rise."
Beastboy jumped up.
" really!"
" you deserve to see you friends." Manrch gave a small smile as he headed towards the door.
"Manrch." Beastboy said.
The man turned.
" you have a good heart, Endalen wouldn't be able to pich a better man than you."
The man smiled.
" nor could Raven."
Beastboy smiled.
Manrch lead Beastboy through a series of hall ways untill they got the a dark hall way with doors made of wood and bars on the small square at the top of the door like a window.
" We have an hour untill the gards come back."
" Manrch, Thank you."
Manrch nodded then stood gard infron of the main door leading to the others and let beastboy in.
He looked around, He looked into the first room, It ws Robin, He sat facing away from the door on a bench looking at the ground.
" Robin!" Beastboy whispered.
Robin jerked his body around.
" Beastboy?" He sounded shooked, He got up, and went to the small window.
" are you even allowed here?" He asked
" Well he did say that I wa to be reated by a king, so even if they do catch me, I doubt that theirs anything that he can do about it."
" oh."
" Hey Robin, you might be able to help me, about tomorrow."
" what?"
" well your good with fighting tecnecs right?"
" yeah, I guess you can say that."
" well what should I do for tomorrow."
Robin scratched his cheek and had a look of intense thinking.
" well, he can change into any animal he wants, right?"
"yeah."
" what are you weakness's."
beastboy thought back to what would weaken him.
" bright lights, flashing bright lights."
" ok, I don't think that their going to give you a flash light in the ring." Robin said raising an eyebrow.
" well, I guess dust would distract me if it got in my eyes."
" ok, so if their is sand on the ground of the ring, you could use that to your advantage."
"ok, got that down, hey, you got any of you flashing spheres of yours, maybe in you utiliaty belt?"
" sorry beastboy, when they brought us in here, they took my utilaty bet, cyborgs exta machenery, and starfire and ravens powers, how i don't know."
" where you guys hurt?"
Robin hesetated at first then looked back at beastboy.
"I didn't get to hurt, all they needed to do was just take my belt and staff then throw me in here. Cyborg I wouldn't think to much, The just unscrewed his arms and legs from his body. But Starfire..." Robin clanched his fist.
" I think they felt pain, alot." he threw his fist at the wall and let out a sharp yell.
" I tried to help them, I really did, but they zapped me uncontents!"
Beastyboy looked at the ground.
"Its not your fault Robin."
Robin sat back on the bench but this time faceing the door.
" yes it is."
Beastboy looked into the room again.
" you want me to see Star and make sure shes ok?"
Robin jumped up and ran to the door.
" really?"
" yeah. want me to tell her anything?"
Robin looked at the the ground again then back at Beastboy.
" Tell that were going to get out of here somehow, and...and that I love her."
Beastboy smiled and nodded, Robin turned and sat back down on the bench.
Beastboy made his way down the the nexts section where Cyborg was.
" Yo, Cy!" He said into the room. Cyborgs body half was on a bench faceing towards the door
" BB!" His head lifted up.
" Hey. I came to say, hi."
" you better win this, i really don't feel like not being able to breath for the rest of my life." He laughed. Beastboy gave a lttle giggle also.
" so, you talk to robin?"
Beastboy nodded.
" how is he, Last I saw him one of those gards got him from behind and knocked him out."
" yeah, hes good. Hes worried for Star though. I need to send her a message to her from him.
" so your just going to each persons cell?"
" yup."
" have you scene Raven yet?"
Beastboy slowly shook his head.
" She was calling for you, I heard everything, Her powers were the hardest to take away apperently there for the most painfull. She called your name few times before she was just out of it."
beastboy felt tears of anger begin to form in his eyes. He punched his fist against the door.
" Their not going to hurt her again!" He said
" You really care for her don't you?" Cyborg asked smileing, he had always known that he liked her, just not that much.
" more than anyone." Beastboy rplied.
" Terra?"
Beastboy hesetated, but then said staring strait at Cyborg.
" More than Terra."
Cyborg grinned.
" Raven desierves you B, go find her."
Beastboy smiled then left Cyborgs door.
He jornied to the next corador where starfire was held, He could tell it was starfire because he could hear punching against the door but soon stoped.
" Starfire?"
"Beastboy Boy?" She jumped to her feet and ran to the window.
" Friend, you are unharmed!" She said with a smile. Beastboy nodded
" but I heard that it was different for you."
Starfire quickly frownd.
" no permanent damage was caused." She said looking at her hand.
" but I fear that I maynot be able to fly again."
Beastboy looked at her hand, it looked like it had been brused.
" whats wrong with your hand?"
She looked up at him then back at her hand.
" oh, this was just because of a qural with one of the gards, he was taking me and Ravens powers, and as he took mine I was able to shoot one last bolt, but it backfired into my own hand."
She gently rubbed her oppiset hand on it.
" Robin wanted me to give you a message."
Her eyes filled with excitment
" Message!?"
" He wants to asure you that were all going to get out of this in one peice, and he also wants to tell you...He says he loves you." Beastboy smiled at starfire.
Starfire blushed and tears of joy filled her bright green eyes.
" If only I could tell him the same right here and now."
"You will see him again Star, I promise. I'll beat the other guy, don't worry."
Beastboy smiled. Starfire smiled back.
" I trust you Beastboy." She turned and sat on the bench and huged herself as if she were cold. Beastboy slowly walked into the last coradoor, now it is who he needed to see, He couldn't just leave with out looking at her one last time, One last glance.
He turned the corner and saw the wooden door. He slowly walked up to it and unlike the others he gentally knocked on the door fisrt before anoncing himself. but before he say that it was him he was interupted by a very framiliar voice.
" Go away, havent you hurt me enough!?" She yelled not looking over her shoulder. Instead she wraped her self in her arms, hugged herself almost. Her eyes were sealed shut, She had no disire to open them and remember where she was.
" Raven?" Beastboy said in the sweetest voice he could manage.
Her eyes shot open, she emediantly knew who it was, She jumped to her feet and ran to the door, She grabed the bars and looked at beastboy with a look of happiness in her eyes. A smiled apeared across her perfect face in disbelife. He thought he saw a tear or two fall from her cheek.
" Beastboy!" She said with a laugh and gasp.
" I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again untill...untill tomorrow."
Beastboy smiled.
" well I guess you were wrong."
She smiled tilting her head. but her face soon changed from relife to fear.
" Beastboy, don't go through with this, we can escape, we can get out of this, all of us."
" what, Raven, you don't think I can take on this guy?"
He gave a slight laugh.
" Beastboy, I saw who your going up against, Hes' ten times your hight and twice as thick in muscle!"
" oh...well, thats a problem."
At first Beastboy was shocked that she was worried for him, but then he knew that even though Raven might be a bit dark, she is just as caring as anyone else.
" Beastboy, get your rest, don't waist you time with me." She let go of the bars on the door and backed away into he dark room.
Beastboy heard her begin to cry. He couldn't stand it, He needed to comfort her, He needed to hold her in his arms once.
He Jerked the handle of the door, nothing was happening. Raven looked up at the door. Beastboy was tring to get in, for her sake?!
He eventually was able to force the door open.
" poor disighn." was what first came out of his mouth.
" why don't you guys just force yourself out?" He asked slowly closeing the door behind him.
" the gards threatened that we would suficate if we tried to escape, but now that your here I can suficate laughing." She said trying to smile, but she couldn't control the tears.
"Raven?!" He ran up to her and huged her. She huged back. Beastboy felt the warm wet tears smear on his sholder just as they did that morning.
" Beastboy, remeber, when I was having that dream?"
She must be able to read minds, because that was to much of a cauincadent.
"yeah."
"do you want to know what it was?" She stepped away from him and looked up at him. Her arms still on his shoulders.
being able to look over Ravens Violet hair, Beastboy hadent really noticed how much he had grown in the past year. but that was beside the poit now.
" do you want to tell me?"
She looked away from him and sat on the bench that was found in every cell.
" In the dream, we... were here, all of us, you went onto the ring, almost five minutes into the fight, you were knocked off of your feet. I tired to run to you but the other man, He...!" Beastboy walked over to the bench and sat down with her. She leaded over clenched his uniform tightly.
" He drove a sharp rock through your body!..."
Beastboys eyes shot open. He couldn't belive what he was hearing, it made him nervious for the fight but he refused to show it. he just countinued to listene.
"Thats when I woke up. And when I saw you, I just... I just lunged for you because, I don't want you to die!"
Beastboy didn't know what to, He loved the fact that she didn't want him to die, He didn't want to die eather, but more than anything, he didn't want Raven to die in this unoticable cpsual. More tears dampend his shoulder even more.
" I not going to die, I promise."
He could tell that she didn't belive him.
" don't do this, Im not sure you can handle it." She nearly yelled at him.
" Raven, I know I can, besides." He let her go so he could look at her eyes
" this, kind of feels like a boy transfer to man kind of thing, and if I pass, than Im offical a man." He looked at the ground then closed his eyes.
It was dumb excus, He knew this, but it was one of the reasons he was going through with it, but the main reason was to keep Raven and his other friends safe.
" I think you are a man all ready."
He looked back up at her.
" but I don't. "
Raven understood that he needed to go through this, no help and not escapeing early.
She placed her hand on his.
" Whatever happens tomorrow, I want you to know, That I will always be there for you, and l'll be there every minute of the fight. I belive in you Beast..." She stoped then smiled.
" Garfeild, I always have, I always will."
Beastboy looked up at her shocked. He thought she had forgotten his real name or she would only use it a times when she wanted to anoy him back for his abnoctius jokes.
It ment a lot to him, even though he acted like he hated it, hearing it come out of a friends mounth, Ravens spesifically just made feel good inside.
He sat there a moment, looking into Ravens wet eyes, She looked back into his. He wasn't sure what to do. The first thing that popped in his head was to kiss her, but he had never kissed anyone before. He had gottn close, with Terra, but their lips never met. He despratly wanted to though, but he didn't want to meet anyones lips, Ravens. Raven was the only one that mattered right now. She probably didn't know it, but he would gladly die for her safety.
suddently, Raven gently lifted her arm up and pushed a strand of hair away from Beastboys face behind his pointed ear. Then put her hand back in her lap and looked back into his ember green eyes.
Beastboy then lifted his gloved hand and pushed Ravens hair behind her own ear, but instead of pulling his hand away he rested it on her cheek. suddently soft words sliped from beastboy lips that he could discribe in a novle, a poem, but he wanted to keep it short.
" your so Beautiful."
Ravens eyes widened, Was he joking, would he make up a joke about how she looks. But no, She looked deep into his eyes, He was dead serious. He ment every world.
She smiled, tilted her head into his hand placeing her own over it. She closed her eyes to take in the warm feeling of his hand on her cheek but was awakend but the hand moveing her head up right. She opened her eyes to see beastboy looking strait into them. He began to slowly move his head closer to hers. She did the same. as their lips wer just barly touching they slowed and stoped close enough so ther could feel each others breath.
" I might never see how beautiful you are again." Beastboy whisped his eyes half closed.
" Don't say that!" Raven gasped in her breath.
" What would you rather me say?" He whispered again, not moving his head away from hers.
She said nothing for a second. She looked at beastboys lips which where centemeters from her own, then up at his eyes.
" nothing." She closed her eyes and pushed her lips into his. Beastboy almost emediandly closed his own.
Raven would very slightly open and closed her mouth several times tillting her head ever so gentally, oppisight Beastboys head. He did the same wrapping his arms around her. She put her arms around his neck. She didn't want to let go. Niether did he, He knew that when The Daylight comes He'll hafe to go, but tonight he wanted to hold her so close.
After what seemed like hours they slowly parted their lips away from each other. They leaned their forheads together breathing slowly but deeply.
Beastboy lifted his eyes to Ravens.
" I never thought I would be able to kiss you."
Raven smiled
" Me neither."
Beastboy saw Ravens perfect smile and couldn't help smiling himself.
Her smile quickly faded along with his curiously.
" I thought your only Love would be Terra." Beastboy eyes widened at the name. Raven pulled her head away from him.
" I'm sorry."
" Sorry for what?" Beastboy asked her lifting her head back up to his levle.
" bring up Terra."
Beastboy shook his head and gave a small smile.
" but, I don't want Terra anymore, don't you get it? I want you Raven."
She lifted her head
" I Love you Raven." He leanded in for another kiss on her perfect lips. She kissed his back. She pulled away for a quick second.
" wait." She said
" what?"Beastboy was worried something was wrong.
" I almost forgot to say...I love you to."
Beastboy smiled then grabed her and pulled her into him.
this time He was going for a long kiss, He wanted to kiss her forever.

A man steped forward, He wore a long brown robe with green exstenctions along the front, His eyes were teal and his blond hair was pulled into a pony tail and his bangs hung over his eyes.
" this way please." His voice sounded timid and weak.
As he walked by beastboy he could tell that he was just as tall as himself. Beastboy followed the man down a different hall way then the one the other titans were taken down, it was decorated with warm glowing lights and painting along the walls. Each held a portrate of similar looking strong men.
" who are all these guys?" Beastboy asked
" former rulers of Recon." Manrch answered not makeing eye contact.
" so thats what this pit is called." Beastboy said with a deadly tone, but Manrch didn't flinch.
Soon they both came up to a rather large door. The man claped his hands together and the door spit apart. He walked in followed by beastboy looking arouns at the green curttens and green lamps wich gave off a green glow.
" Does this satisfie you?" Manrch asked.
Beastboy looked at the man and narrowed his eye browns.
" The only satifaction I could be feeling right now, is to know that my friends lives arn't hangging by a thread." He sneered Manrch.
" you are fond of them?" asked Manrch
Beastboy looked at his shoocked.
" yes of course, Their my friends, why wouldn't I be?!"
" I envy you, I have never felt the true feeling of friendship, The closets person I have had for a friend is the ruler of Recon." Manrch said putting folded currtens in the closet.
" Some friend." Beastboy smirked feirsly.
Manrch stoped and stood infront of the closet.
" Have you ever felt...love?"
Beastboy looked at him puzzled.
" what do you mean?"
" Love, you know, to have certain feelings towards another person, more than friendship."
Beastboy looked towards the ground.
" well, yes, once, a long time ago, but she was lieing, well, sort of lieing. Another..." He sat on the bed covered in green sheets shaped in a circle.
" Another I am feeling now, but I just don't know how to tell her."
Manrch walked over to the bed and sat on it as well.
" their is this one girl, that I think I love, She is a rosen, what we call very pretty girls here, but, she would never fell the same for me."
" why not?" beastboy asked
" because, I am a nothing, The king said it himself, and if I haven't felt friendship yet, how can i feel love." Manrch looked at th ground.
Beastboy noticed that this man wasn't like the others, he was different, he jus did what he was told and beastboy could tell he had regrets towards his line of work.
"whats her name?" Beastboy asked
" Endalen." Manrch smiled.
" She has long glisening blond hair, and her eyes are as dark as the night sky. Oh her smile lights my heart so."
Beastboy gave a small smile.
" and yours, what is you loves name?"
Beastboy stoped and looked at the ground.
" Raven, her name is Raven."
" will you tell me of her?" Manrch pleaded looking up at Beastboy.
" Her hair is a beautiful shade of violet, Her eyes match and they glisen in the moon light, Her skin is a beautiful ivory color, One of the most beatuful girls I have ever scene. Only, I don't think she knows how beautiful she is." Beastboy gave a small smirk.
" And She never really gets my jokes, she still doesn't get that the reason I still tell them to her is just to get her to smile for me, just once, but all she sees in me is an anoying little boy." He fell back on the bed.
" is she one of your firends that came with you?"
Beastboy sat up.
" yeah, which one do you think she is?"
" the one dressed in blue?"
Beastboy smiled and noded.
" yeah, thats Raven."
Manrch smiled, but it soon changed to a frown.
" The king is wrong, He is not right for the thrown. The only reason he declared war on tameran was for fun, even if Tameran asked for a clear reason he would still bomb their cities. And now he is putting you and your friends lives at danger as if its a game."
Manrch stood up.
" I am sorry."
" Its not your fault." Beastboy asured.
" The least I can do is let you see your friends, aspecially Raven before Sun rise."
Beastboy jumped up.
" really!"
" you deserve to see you friends." Manrch gave a small smile as he headed towards the door.
"Manrch." Beastboy said.
The man turned.
" you have a good heart, Endalen wouldn't be able to pich a better man than you."
The man smiled.
" nor could Raven."
Beastboy smiled.
Manrch lead Beastboy through a series of hall ways untill they got the a dark hall way with doors made of wood and bars on the small square at the top of the door like a window.
" We have an hour untill the gards come back."
" Manrch, Thank you."
Manrch nodded then stood gard infron of the main door leading to the others and let beastboy in.
He looked around, He looked into the first room, It ws Robin, He sat facing away from the door on a bench looking at the ground.
" Robin!" Beastboy whispered.
Robin jerked his body around.
" Beastboy?" He sounded shooked, He got up, and went to the small window.
" are you even allowed here?" He asked
" Well he did say that I wa to be reated by a king, so even if they do catch me, I doubt that theirs anything that he can do about it."
" oh."
" Hey Robin, you might be able to help me, about tomorrow."
" what?"
" well your good with fighting tecnecs right?"
" yeah, I guess you can say that."
" well what should I do for tomorrow."
Robin scratched his cheek and had a look of intense thinking.
" well, he can change into any animal he wants, right?"
"yeah."
" what are you weakness's."
beastboy thought back to what would weaken him.
" bright lights, flashing bright lights."
" ok, I don't think that their going to give you a flash light in the ring." Robin said raising an eyebrow.
" well, I guess dust would distract me if it got in my eyes."
" ok, so if their is sand on the ground of the ring, you could use that to your advantage."
"ok, got that down, hey, you got any of you flashing spheres of yours, maybe in you utiliaty belt?"
" sorry beastboy, when they brought us in here, they took my utilaty bet, cyborgs exta machenery, and starfire and ravens powers, how i don't know."
" where you guys hurt?"
Robin hesetated at first then looked back at beastboy.
"I didn't get to hurt, all they needed to do was just take my belt and staff then throw me in here. Cyborg I wouldn't think to much, The just unscrewed his arms and legs from his body. But Starfire..." Robin clanched his fist.
" I think they felt pain, alot." he threw his fist at the wall and let out a sharp yell.
" I tried to help them, I really did, but they zapped me uncontents!"
Beastyboy looked at the ground.
"Its not your fault Robin."
Robin sat back on the bench but this time faceing the door.
" yes it is."
Beastboy looked into the room again.
" you want me to see Star and make sure shes ok?"
Robin jumped up and ran to the door.
" really?"
" yeah. want me to tell her anything?"
Robin looked at the the ground again then back at Beastboy.
" Tell that were going to get out of here somehow, and...and that I love her."
Beastboy smiled and nodded, Robin turned and sat back down on the bench.
Beastboy made his way down the the nexts section where Cyborg was.
" Yo, Cy!" He said into the room. Cyborgs body half was on a bench faceing towards the door
" BB!" His head lifted up.
" Hey. I came to say, hi."
" you better win this, i really don't feel like not being able to breath for the rest of my life." He laughed. Beastboy gave a lttle giggle also.
" so, you talk to robin?"
Beastboy nodded.
" how is he, Last I saw him one of those gards got him from behind and knocked him out."
" yeah, hes good. Hes worried for Star though. I need to send her a message to her from him.
" so your just going to each persons cell?"
" yup."
" have you scene Raven yet?"
Beastboy slowly shook his head.
" She was calling for you, I heard everything, Her powers were the hardest to take away apperently there for the most painfull. She called your name few times before she was just out of it."
beastboy felt tears of anger begin to form in his eyes. He punched his fist against the door.
" Their not going to hurt her again!" He said
" You really care for her don't you?" Cyborg asked smileing, he had always known that he liked her, just not that much.
" more than anyone." Beastboy rplied.
" Terra?"
Beastboy hesetated, but then said staring strait at Cyborg.
" More than Terra."
Cyborg grinned.
" Raven desierves you B, go find her."
Beastboy smiled then left Cyborgs door.
He jornied to the next corador where starfire was held, He could tell it was starfire because he could hear punching against the door but soon stoped.
" Starfire?"
"Beastboy Boy?" She jumped to her feet and ran to the window.
" Friend, you are unharmed!" She said with a smile. Beastboy nodded
" but I heard that it was different for you."
Starfire quickly frownd.
" no permanent damage was caused." She said looking at her hand.
" but I fear that I maynot be able to fly again."
Beastboy looked at her hand, it looked like it had been brused.
" whats wrong with your hand?"
She looked up at him then back at her hand.
" oh, this was just because of a qural with one of the gards, he was taking me and Ravens powers, and as he took mine I was able to shoot one last bolt, but it backfired into my own hand."
She gently rubbed her oppiset hand on it.
" Robin wanted me to give you a message."
Her eyes filled with excitment
" Message!?"
" He wants to asure you that were all going to get out of this in one peice, and he also wants to tell you...He says he loves you." Beastboy smiled at starfire.
Starfire blushed and tears of joy filled her bright green eyes.
" If only I could tell him the same right here and now."
"You will see him again Star, I promise. I'll beat the other guy, don't worry."
Beastboy smiled. Starfire smiled back.
" I trust you Beastboy." She turned and sat on the bench and huged herself as if she were cold. Beastboy slowly walked into the last coradoor, now it is who he needed to see, He couldn't just leave with out looking at her one last time, One last glance.
He turned the corner and saw the wooden door. He slowly walked up to it and unlike the others he gentally knocked on the door fisrt before anoncing himself. but before he say that it was him he was interupted by a very framiliar voice.
" Go away, havent you hurt me enough!?" She yelled not looking over her shoulder. Instead she wraped her self in her arms, hugged herself almost. Her eyes were sealed shut, She had no disire to open them and remember where she was.
" Raven?" Beastboy said in the sweetest voice he could manage.
Her eyes shot open, she emediantly knew who it was, She jumped to her feet and ran to the door, She grabed the bars and looked at beastboy with a look of happiness in her eyes. A smiled apeared across her perfect face in disbelife. He thought he saw a tear or two fall from her cheek.
" Beastboy!" She said with a laugh and gasp.
" I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again untill...untill tomorrow."
Beastboy smiled.
" well I guess you were wrong."
She smiled tilting her head. but her face soon changed from relife to fear.
" Beastboy, don't go through with this, we can escape, we can get out of this, all of us."
" what, Raven, you don't think I can take on this guy?"
He gave a slight laugh.
" Beastboy, I saw who your going up against, Hes' ten times your hight and twice as thick in muscle!"
" oh...well, thats a problem."
At first Beastboy was shocked that she was worried for him, but then he knew that even though Raven might be a bit dark, she is just as caring as anyone else.
" Beastboy, get your rest, don't waist you time with me." She let go of the bars on the door and backed away into he dark room.
Beastboy heard her begin to cry. He couldn't stand it, He needed to comfort her, He needed to hold her in his arms once.
He Jerked the handle of the door, nothing was happening. Raven looked up at the door. Beastboy was tring to get in, for her sake?!
He eventually was able to force the door open.
" poor disighn." was what first came out of his mouth.
" why don't you guys just force yourself out?" He asked slowly closeing the door behind him.
" the gards threatened that we would suficate if we tried to escape, but now that your here I can suficate laughing." She said trying to smile, but she couldn't control the tears.
"Raven?!" He ran up to her and huged her. She huged back. Beastboy felt the warm wet tears smear on his sholder just as they did that morning.
" Beastboy, remeber, when I was having that dream?"
She must be able to read minds, because that was to much of a cauincadent.
"yeah."
"do you want to know what it was?" She stepped away from him and looked up at him. Her arms still on his shoulders.
being able to look over Ravens Violet hair, Beastboy hadent really noticed how much he had grown in the past year. but that was beside the poit now.
" do you want to tell me?"
She looked away from him and sat on the bench that was found in every cell.
" In the dream, we... were here, all of us, you went onto the ring, almost five minutes into the fight, you were knocked off of your feet. I tired to run to you but the other man, He...!" Beastboy walked over to the bench and sat down with her. She leaded over clenched his uniform tightly.
" He drove a sharp rock through your body!..."
Beastboys eyes shot open. He couldn't belive what he was hearing, it made him nervious for the fight but he refused to show it. he just countinued to listene.
"Thats when I woke up. And when I saw you, I just... I just lunged for you because, I don't want you to die!"
Beastboy didn't know what to, He loved the fact that she didn't want him to die, He didn't want to die eather, but more than anything, he didn't want Raven to die in this unoticable cpsual. More tears dampend his shoulder even more.
" I not going to die, I promise."
He could tell that she didn't belive him.
" don't do this, Im not sure you can handle it." She nearly yelled at him.
" Raven, I know I can, besides." He let her go so he could look at her eyes
" this, kind of feels like a boy transfer to man kind of thing, and if I pass, than Im offical a man." He looked at the ground then closed his eyes.
It was dumb excus, He knew this, but it was one of the reasons he was going through with it, but the main reason was to keep Raven and his other friends safe.
" I think you are a man all ready."
He looked back up at her.
" but I don't. "
Raven understood that he needed to go through this, no help and not escapeing early.
She placed her hand on his.
" Whatever happens tomorrow, I want you to know, That I will always be there for you, and l'll be there every minute of the fight. I belive in you Beast..." She stoped then smiled.
" Garfeild, I always have, I always will."
Beastboy looked up at her shocked. He thought she had forgotten his real name or she would only use it a times when she wanted to anoy him back for his abnoctius jokes.
It ment a lot to him, even though he acted like he hated it, hearing it come out of a friends mounth, Ravens spesifically just made feel good inside.
He sat there a moment, looking into Ravens wet eyes, She looked back into his. He wasn't sure what to do. The first thing that popped in his head was to kiss her, but he had never kissed anyone before. He had gottn close, with Terra, but their lips never met. He despratly wanted to though, but he didn't want to meet anyones lips, Ravens. Raven was the only one that mattered right now. She probably didn't know it, but he would gladly die for her safety.
suddently, Raven gently lifted her arm up and pushed a strand of hair away from Beastboys face behind his pointed ear. Then put her hand back in her lap and looked back into his ember green eyes.
Beastboy then lifted his gloved hand and pushed Ravens hair behind her own ear, but instead of pulling his hand away he rested it on her cheek. suddently soft words sliped from beastboy lips that he could discribe in a novle, a poem, but he wanted to keep it short.
" your so Beautiful."
Ravens eyes widened, Was he joking, would he make up a joke about how she looks. But no, She looked deep into his eyes, He was dead serious. He ment every world.
She smiled, tilted her head into his hand placeing her own over it. She closed her eyes to take in the warm feeling of his hand on her cheek but was awakend but the hand moveing her head up right. She opened her eyes to see beastboy looking strait into them. He began to slowly move his head closer to hers. She did the same. as their lips wer just barly touching they slowed and stoped close enough so ther could feel each others breath.
" I might never see how beautiful you are again." Beastboy whisped his eyes half closed.
" Don't say that!" Raven gasped in her breath.
" What would you rather me say?" He whispered again, not moving his head away from hers.
She said nothing for a second. She looked at beastboys lips which where centemeters from her own, then up at his eyes.
" nothing." She closed her eyes and pushed her lips into his. Beastboy almost emediandly closed his own.
Raven would very slightly open and closed her mouth several times tillting her head ever so gentally, oppisight Beastboys head. He did the same wrapping his arms around her. She put her arms around his neck. She didn't want to let go. Niether did he, He knew that when The Daylight comes He'll hafe to go, but tonight he wanted to hold her so close.
After what seemed like hours they slowly parted their lips away from each other. They leaned their forheads together breathing slowly but deeply.
Beastboy lifted his eyes to Ravens.
" I never thought I would be able to kiss you."
Raven smiled
" Me neither."
Beastboy saw Ravens perfect smile and couldn't help smiling himself.
Her smile quickly faded along with his curiously.
" I thought your only Love would be Terra." Beastboy eyes widened at the name. Raven pulled her head away from him.
" I'm sorry."
" Sorry for what?" Beastboy asked her lifting her head back up to his levle.
" bring up Terra."
Beastboy shook his head and gave a small smile.
" but, I don't want Terra anymore, don't you get it? I want you Raven."
She lifted her head
" I Love you Raven." He leanded in for another kiss on her perfect lips. She kissed his back. She pulled away for a quick second.
" wait." She said
" what?"Beastboy was worried something was wrong.
" I almost forgot to say...I love you to."
Beastboy smiled then grabed her and pulled her into him.
this time He was going for a long kiss, He wanted to kiss her forever.
