I've worked with this model several times, but she finally decided she'd venture into the realm of nudity. I'm thankful she did. She's absolutely gorgeous and the results of the shoot are fantastic. I've also wanted to do a shoot in a kitchen. Something inspired by Simon Greek.Title --> Hunger

This isn't just a 'nudity for the sake of nudity' photo. The nudity adds an element of vulnerability and even melancholy that would be missing otherwise. The darkness, the solitude, the photojournalistic quality of this image makes it powerful and a bit haunting. The model's body language lacks any pretense of caring and, like the shadows over her eyes, is perfect for this. She, like the picture itself, is raw and, paradoxically, emotional even though all she's doing is sitting there (congratulate her for me, if you will). One of my regulars refuses to be photographed nude in places 'where I'm supposed to be nude.' As a result we get much better images than just another naked woman on a couch. Same with this. This should not work but it does, and that's what makes this exceptional.

Hunger is an interesting concept to work with. It's good that the model agreed to get into the character, so you got your photo-shoot with excellent results. Congratulations both of you!
