This took such a long time to make some I hope you guys like it. For this one I took more consideration in planning the composition. This was all done in graphite.Related content

I found this in Project Comment's "more exposure". I really like the way this looks. The texture of the paper is beautifully visible, something that would take an extra step in digital art, whereas in your medium, it's a matter of controlling pressure and amount of passovers. You handled it beautifully.
Looks like planning the composition paid off. It's certainly more interesting that the girl isn't exactly in the middle. The moon(?) in the corner is unusually close to the side, which makes it look a bit crowded.
I really like the balance of values in this drawing. Even though the shirt and the girl's skin seem to have the same value, the contrast between the background and foreground is powerful and the hair seems to have a slightly darker value than the rest of the girl.
The beams of light radiating from the planet look like they cut off abruptly. It looks a bit odd. It might look better if they faded gradually, with some beams being dimmer than others.
The girl's facial expression is sort of determined, making me wonder what's on her mind. Her pose/angle of the body is challenging and I really appreciate that. The raised shoulder brings this to another level.
