I like to break word down to their roots,
As an example,.... "
PROTEST"
PRO TEST
PRO (Forward, ie...proactive.proclaim) YEST...(Tell, ie. testify, testament, etc.)

PROTEST- FORTH-TELL

The Protestant Church was formed because people saw the abuse, and corruption in the Roman Catholic Church.
When Martin Luther nailed the 99 Thesis to the door, at Wittenburg Castle, It was an effort to address the problem. He had hoped that the Pope would understand, and fix the problem. He did not want to attack the Roman Catholic Faith. But was forced to leave the Church, by order of a Papal Ordinance, or "BULL."

My understanding of Protest is to "Walk the Talk, and Talk the Walk."

Agreed. I also feel when you mind is open, it is wise to keep track of who has been in it.
