     If you're reading this, then it's not too late. There's still a chance we might survive it all. I was afraid these pages might be written in vain; lucky for all of us, I was wrong. I need this to serve as a warning to those who are like us...or at least a record of what we tried, in case we fail. Sounds crazy, I know. Hell, we didn't think much of it at first, either. Not until the pieces fell through and we saw the big picture. Talk about a world-wide wake up call. But I know what you're thinking.
     Literally, I do know what you're thinking. I'm a telepath. Actually, my main gift -- if that's what you want to call it -- is precognition. My mind has the ability to "scan" potential futures and predict which one will most likely manifest. Simply put, I get these images of things that haven't happened yet, and sooner or later it becomes reality. I knew you'd find this soon enough. At least, I hoped so. My predictions aren't always 100%. I learned that the hard way.
     I don't know how it got this way; none of us do. We're all still trying to find that out. But I need you to understand that it's all happening. The wars, the epidemics, the natural disasters...everything you see in the news is nothing compared to what comes next. The government won't be any help, either. It will just become another factor we fight against.
     You might wake up tomorrow morning with a throbbing headache. If we're lucky, then you will have just gained the same ability I have -- or better. Who knows? If not, then we'll just have to meet up with you the hard way: see you in four years. In the mean time, it is important that you pay close attention to how the world turns. Laws will change real fast, and the more time passes, the less of a chance we have at surviving all this. Like I said, politics will become a problem.
     If you can't handle this truth, this glimpse of the future I've given you...then say so mentally, and I'll mindwipe you overnight. We didn't have the luxury of a heads up. We're just gonna have to hope someone else finds this. If you do believe everything I've just told you, then open your mind and I'll tell you the rest of the story. As far as we know it, anyway.
