Super Sonic is his obvious and famous form originally he needed the chaos emeralds to use this form but after many years of exposure to the chaos energy Sonic has now able to transform into his super form without the chaos emeralds.

Super Sonic 2 is a extension of his Super form it works similar to Super saiyan 2 where Sonic trains himself to get stronger.

Super Sonic 3 is the final stage of the Super forms this form is achieved if Sonic is in his Super Sonic 2 form.

Semi Dark Sonic is a weaker dark form but it is achieved if Sonic sees someone close to him hurt while not as powerful as most of his forms it still gives him a boost in speed and power.

Dark Sonic is when Sonic gets extremely angry and and for the most part the chaos emeralds make him even more stronger but he doesn't need them.

Ultra Sonic is a form Sonic acquires when he absorbs 100 rings or anything higher then 100 depending on how many rings Sonic absorbs Sonics ultra form becomes more powerful.

Fire Sonic is a form Sonic gets when he eats a fire flower due to how strong this form is he doesn't easily lose it if he's hit but if he takes too much damage then the form will wear off.

Fleetway is a energetic parasite that infected Sonic many years ago he cannot be removed and Sonic always loses control of fleetway when he's in his Super form but as of now in recent years Sonic has been able to lock away fleetway with no trouble but often times fleetway will break free taking over sonics super form,fleetway is energetic and insane and has no morals and will destory everyone in his way friend or foe.

Fleetway can also take control of Sonic in his fire form as in this form fleetway has the fire powers with the added power of shooting lasers.

Dark Fleetway Sonic is fleetways true form once fleetway has all 7 chaos emeralds he becomes all powerful the only way to break his control over Sonic is if you managed to take him down long enough for him to get knocked down.

Darkspine Sonic is acquired with the 7 world rings but because their from a story based world Sonic doesn't use this form often unless he really needs to.

Super Sonic Red is a form Sonic gets during the course of his adventures and battling even stronger enemies this form makes Sonic strong enough to battle Enerjak.

Super Sonic Blue is a form Sonic gets when he gets even stronger he achieved this form when he battled perfect nazo when he returned.

Hyper Sonic is a form Sonic gets when he uses the super emeralds but as of recent years Sonic doesn't need them to achieve this form since he's been exposed to their energy for a long time.

Dark Hyper Sonic is a combination of his dark and hyper form this form is rare but it is achieved if Sonic is in his dark form and uses the super emeralds plus the master emeralds power to power himself up into this form and it was thanks to this form that Sonic was able to defeat super Sonic.EXE.

Ultra Instinct Sonic is a form Sonic has achieved in later years this form is acquired when Sonic is in deep trouble if he clears his mind and removes all distractions he will achieved this form it is achieved differently how goku gets ultra instinct.
