Whenever a cybertronian gets a power ring it doesn't go on the finger but instead it goes into the cybertronians spark and this also includes their power battery as well.

What this means is that with the ring and battery inside the spark,the ring is constantly charging even when used in battle so the cybertronian doesn't have to worry about recharging the ring once it's power is depleted.
