after the fall of the covenant,the Sangheili took their home planet back and Thel Vadam the current Arbiter leads his people to a brighter future for peace because of this he has formed alliances with planets such as Earth,Cybertron and a few others.

The Sangheili respect many warriors among them is the Yautja this respect first came when Thel Vadam came to earth to investigate the disappearance of a small group of Sangheili soldiers during the events of RWBY he and Scar Predator teamed up with the rest of scars friends to battle Salem and formed a deep respect for scar and this respect/friendship lasted even when Scar became a elite and then a clan leader including a member of the elder predators council which is allowed only to elder predators lead by the grand elder the leader of yautja prime and the council of elders.

side note:even though the Sangheili and Yautja respect each other this is for only the individuals not the entire race this means that each individual of each race would either be rivals,enemies,friends or potential lovers.
