Description
The Maximals and Predacons exist in Rebirth's Aligned Continuity back on Cybertron before the Great War.

Cybertron's society was fucked up to begin with the Maximals and Predacons(who named themselves after the prehistoric Predacons at the time) lived in the middle side of Cybertron not affiliated with neither Iacon or kaon they stayed in their own personal territory during Cybertron's many different events such as the quintesson invasion and the age of rust.

However, before the Great War began the Maximals and Predacons had their own battle a fellow Predacon calling himself Megatron (because he was inspired by Megatron during his time as a gladiator) decided to rise a small batch of Predacons and wanted them to attack other worlds and use whatever sources they had to make their own energon the Maximals clearly stopped them lead by simply Primal but both factions fled Cybertron when the Great War began.

Years after the Great W,ar the Maximals would find themselves in the Disney Universe; more specifically the Pride Lands there the Maximals protect with the Lion Guard against the Predacons and their own allies.

Side note: The Predacons named themselves after the beast Predacons because they wished to inspire fear to those who trespassed in their side of Cybertron as well they wanted to show other worlds their wrath by taking on beast modes that were as deadly as the beast Predacons.
