in Rebirth,the 3 Nordic God cards Thor,Loki and Odin were created by Odin himself many years ago he wanted to test to see if mortals had what it takes to wield the powers of him and his sons through these 3 cards years would pass and Odin got what he wished for team Ragnarok holding each of the 3 Nordic God cards after the events of yu gi oh 5ds team Ragnarok returned the 3 cards to Odin since their mission was done.

the 3 cards would be used by thor,loki and of course Odin himself for future duels since the 3 knew how to duel.

side note:after Odin stepped down and gave the throne to Thor,he was given his father's card as a symbol of him being the new all father of asgard and to show how powerful he now is.
