Description The next installment to my longest series yet named "Cookson Series". Named after the owner of the junkyard where I took the photos. He believes to have over 500 antique autos ranging anywhere from 1910 to the late 1980's.
Enjoy these photographs and please let me know what you think of them. Keep in mind however that space was VERY limited to take the shots. Everything was crammed together with trees growing up around/on/through them.

I do appreciate your critiques. Here are my replies to some of the common ones.

1) " Your photo is too small."

I kept the image small purposely to deter image theft. I take copyright infringement VERY seriously. I have reduced the image to about 20% of the original size. Upon completion of my website, a larger version will be available. Did you try clicking "full view"?

2)
"Why didn't you use more PHOTOSHOP?"

I didn't manipulate this significantly in photo-shop. I chose to just do some basic corrections to make this appear as I found it. In the future I will have a photo-manipulation gallery on my website where I will exaggerate the colors and tones. At that time I possibly could have desaturated parts to pinpoint a particular object within the frame. Which brings me to:

3)
"What's the objective of this shot?" OR "Why did you take a picture of that?"

As a solitary shot this photo doesn't seem to have purpose. However as part of the series I tried to demonstrate the atmosphere and theme of the location.

I hope this has cleared everything up for you. I do appreciate you taking the time to tell me your opinion of my work. I wish more viewers took the time to make relevant comments like these.

Lastly, concerning permission for use of my images, I would have to decline. I apologize if this offends you. I must continue to be firm on my terms of photo usage for everyone. I have allowed ONE person to use a photo from my personal stock, however I had not posted it as a deviation. I may consider creating a stock account in the future.

Thanks again,
Abearce
