A lot of people these days have no idea what an argument really is; much less how they're won.Shutting the other person up does not, in itself, grant you victory in the argument. This is simply because the whole bloody point of an argument is to change the other person's opinion on something, and if you or they just stop arguing, nobody wins or loses. The only way to really win an argument is for the other person, after the argument, to be opinionated in the direction of your choosing on the subject in question.
I seem to be making a lot of ranting stamps lately...
Only use this if it applies to you; this goes for all stamps, really.

I don't think I've ever won. Even if I started to seem more right in other's eyes, I don't think that I've won any of my arguments.

..Reminds me of how people think they've won an arguement with me.
I usually get my point across, but I still respect other's opinions. When I say that, people tend to think they've won the arguement, which they haven't. However, they have no idea and I won't pay any attention to them afterwards any more.
It mostly happens in real life though. -_- I don't know.

I do that a lot while gaming. People start calling me a cheater or such and i respond for a short while, then i go totally silent... Then they'll totally freak out

This reminds me about how the study guide I was given today had Stalin's birthday wrong. I knew no one would listen to me, so I told the idiot in front of me about how the birth date was incorrect, so he proceeded to tell everyone in an "omg teacher you made an error" fashion. He thought he was so smart, but really he was just my tool.

People in that class tend to not like me, so they don't ever listen to what I say. :< Except the one girl who sits a few in front of me, and one to the right. She thinks I'm brilliant.

Indeed, arguments need to be resolved.
Having them sit and rot into a festering pile of shit is even worse than having the argument in the first place.
