(Setting is the park, Allison is birdwatching with binoculars, while Ruth sits at a bark bench, relaxing with a cigarette. Allison coos about all the pretty birds she sees, until she sees Jessica through her binoculars.)
Allison (nervously): Jessica, hey what's going...
Jessica: Hey, dyke girl, what did I tell you?
Allison (confused): What...
Jessica: This is my park, so get out, and take your lesbian cooties with you.Β
Allison (annoyed): Its a public park, owned by city the Springfield. You're not the legal owner.
Jessica (sputtering): Well-uh-your not the legal owner!
Allison (narrowing her eyes): That doesn't make any-
(Jessica knocks the binoculars out of Allison's hands and starts beating her up)Β
(Allison's cries for help attract the attention of Ruth and Helen)
Ruth (furious): Allie!Β
(Jessica sees a furious Ruth storming over to her. She nervously backs away from Allison who falls to the grown in pain).
Ruth (to Jessica): Why you little-
Helen: Jessica, what's going on.
Jessica (in a whiny tone): Mommy, Allison was trying to turn me into a lesbian.
Ruth (seething with rage, to Helen): I don't know how you call yourself a Christian when you've raised that girl to be a little hellhound! Teaching her its OK to beat people up!
(She hears Allison crying, and turns her back to the Lovejoys to comfort her)
Helen: Perhaps if you chose to live the way God intended, my daughter wouldn't feel the need to defend herself against your perversions, which are clearly present in your daughter (Helen finishes with disgust)!
Ruth (oddly calm, her back to them): Excuse me.
Helen:Β They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I can see your filth all over her.
(Ruth growling)
Jessica (nastily): I can just smell the dyke all over her too.Β
Helen: I know she'll grow up to be just like you: a car-stealing whore*.
(Cue explosion)
-------
Boy, Ruth is fuming with anger.
I'm assuming this is the prequel to my commission "You want to keep your teeth?"
* That's a reference to Ruth stealing her ex's car. I can't imagine Helen letting her live it down.Β

*Oh for sure! Helen loves lording things like that over other people.Β
This is is a totally seperate piece from that commission there, I just really wanted to make my own Ruth-Helen-Jess-Allie piece to show my similar feelings of them. c: I was abused for most of my life as you know, so I use that to fuel some of these pieces. Not so much violent, I don't think Ruth could be violent unless she has to be. She's definitely not someone you want to cross! I may tinker with a Ruth-Lily scene.

Looks like Ruth is about to go mama bear on Mrs. Lovejoy. Get her.

Helen Lovejoy has always tried to refer herself, her husband and her daughter as being sort of the "perfect" family and her and Reverand Lovejoy are quick to judge others that fall short of being perfect like them, often talking about them behind their back and or criticizing them right to their face and could definitely see Helen blaming Ruth for the situation of what happened to Allison.
I could see Helen saying to Ruth, "This is your fault if you weren't in a relationship with another woman this wouldn't have happened. My Jessica was just telling Allison what a sin it is for two women to be together, and Allison attacked Jessica. My daughter was just defending herself. If your daughter got hurt, that's on you. No one else."Β
I know you don't take requests, but please make a part 2 to this and show Ruth clocking this woman! I really don't like Helen Lovejoy and think she deserves to get put her place after the way she judges everyone all the time, especially Marge always acting she and her family is so much better than her.Β

I like that idea. So I incorporated it into the captions I wrote. Let me know what you think.Β
I agree with you as well about the Lovejoys.

I'd love to see Helen get her ass handed to her. One of my former roommates had awful children (one of whom nearly let my cat die of heat stroke when I was staying at my dad's to recover from surgery), but the sun shines out of their assholes! I wouldn't put it past Ruth to beat them both!

Omg, what jerks! Being cruel to animals like that! I donβt know how anyone can be mean to something so sweet and pure as animals.
I agree with you I cant stand Helen Lovejoy and she needs an ass whooping. even Timothy Lovejoy gets to me sometimes though I can tolerate him more than Helen.

Timothy is redeemable in some aspects, at least, though he's a terrible parent.Β

Honestly, I think Jessica is both the worst person, but also the most potentially redeemable of the Lovejoys.
Jessica clearly has no respect for the church, even less then Bart. So I doubt if Jessica is in any way homophobic. No, she USES homophobia as an excuse to be cruel. This makes her worse then her mom.Β
But, unlike her parents, Jessica is still young. She is ultimately a victim of her father's neglect, and her mom's enablement. If she just had a stable parental figure in her life, she probably would need to bully anyone or act out.Β

She probably just exhibiting the learned shitty behaviour to an extent, as kids may do. Tim strikes me as a man who is completely under Helen's control to an extent, and is sort of broken. If I remember correctly, he's really into model trains and most likely uses them as a form of escapism. I'm not at all explaining away the neglect of course, and I think Helen is definitely the worst of the three.

Yeah, but if Jessica were so Christian, why would she steal from the church? It is obvious she just sees the Good Book as a bunch of bull.Β
The Reverend's brokenness came from Ned's constant complaining in his life.Β

While I also see the Bible as a huge load myself, I couldn't get myself to act like the little terror that Jes is. (: regarding Timothy, I can see Ned certainly being one factor. I also think his private family life plays a role as well. I have my private reasons why in which I cannot elaborate on, but I can say that the results in Tim are identical.

Ruth isn't gonna beat up Jessica.
1. It is against the law to beat up a child.
2. While Jessica deserves punishment, Helen is the one who enables, if not encourages, Jessica's cruelty. The fault is with the parent, not the child.Β
Either Lisa or someone else their age needs to step in to stop Jessica, or Allie has to learn to defend herself.Β

I've had to fight myself from the urge to draw Ruth snapping Helen's neck in this one. I challenged myself with expressions here; wanted her expression to be more subtle but still able to cut the tension with a knife. (: If anything, Ruth will go after Helen (and effectively make Jessica fear her), that looming threat would be more than enough. (:

Well, I'm pretty sure Killjoy there is criticizing Ruth about her relation with another female instead of her daughter for what she did to Allison...hurts to see her in such a condition, but you did great work with this picture Is there gonna be a part two, or is this a prequel to the one you did of Powers clocking her?

What made me hate Helen was her behavior in "viaje misterioso" aka, the chili pepper episode.
Helen first mocked Marge for having trust in Homer, and then crudely gossiped about his behavior to Marge in a way that put on a dent in their marriage, instead of pointing out that Homer was under the influence of those peppers. Β
