Backstory: Oliver and Doe played moss ball as really young kits. When their mother died of a serious illness, Oliver watched over his sister like a watchdog. Not long after, their father died protecting them from a bear. He realized that it wouldn't be safe for both him and Doe to stay alone with no one to take care of them, and took her to find a group of rogues to join. They stumbled upon JuniperClan together, and were taken in by Snowstar and the rest of the Clan. They've stayed there ever since.

Roleplay Sample: [Takes place when they're apprentices]
Tigerpaw yawned as he walked. He was on a patrol with Doepaw, and they were supposed to be checking the borders. He stood at her side, his shoulder almost touching hers.
"Why are you standing so close to me?" she asked, squinting at me.
He blinked. He had always been protective of her ever since their parents died, even though she tended to dislike it. "Oh. Sorry," he said plainly, stepping away from her. However, he still kept his eyes on her, especially as they got closer to the border. He stiffened when he smelled an odd scent. "Wait, what is that?" he asked, his hackles rising. He instinctively scooted closer to his sister. "It smells like a rogue."
Doepaw looked up at him. "I can handle myself," she hissed.
"This is not the time. If this is a rogue, it's my duty to protect you. Now step back," he stated, a bewildered expression on his face.
"I can handle it!" she repeated.
"I said stay back-" he stepped forward, pushing the bush in front of them aside to reveal the scent was coming from an old piece of prey that someone had caught and forgotten to bring back to camp. "Oh..." he muttered, staring at it. "Well. It wasn't a rogue," he noted.
"You don't need to be so protective of me," Doepaw muttered, glaring at Tigerpaw. "I mean, I get it. You want to protect me because of our childhood trauma. But you don't have to treat me like a kit."
He turned around to say something to her, but she was already walking back to camp. "Hey, Doepaw! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! Doepaw... dang it," he growled under his breath, following her back to camp. He'd find a way to make it up to her.
