I haven't done one of these in a while. This is pic #6 in my 'Works Revisited' series. Man, this picture looked like crap when I had first drawn it. However I still suck at drawing weapons. Oh well. This is Alucard from Hellsing.Ink Drawing

wells, I do remember trying to draw guns a long time ago when I was obsessed with Soniv the Hedgehog and made my own very long series of doujinshi's with alot of my fan characters and alot of them had guns so yeah. :/

I've actually been trying to get back into drawing and when I saw that I just had to try and copy it a bit for practice. I mostly did his head, I didn't do the gun (save for two oddly angled lines) and the jacket was unfinished. Came out better than I would have expected though.
How long did it take to draw that gun anyways? That gun is probaly my favorite part.

The gun took the lion-share of the pictures line work time. I'd say I spent around 15 to 20 minutes with planning and drawing.

Wow thats fast. It took me like at least 30 minutes for the little I did.
I'm thinking about maybe adding on a few more details to the jacket then I'll probaly upload it to scraps. Its just a practice picture and its not really all that great IMO.

You have to take into account that this is my second time drawing this picture. The first time I drew it was about three years ago and it probably took me a lot longer to draw it then.

Oh yes very much, something about vampires i don't know i just like them. But i must say the ending was a bit weak, i hate cliffhagers. But i've seen the first episode of the OVA and it kicks ass, the art and story line are way better!!!!! And if you can believe it Father Anderson is even more powreful and more crazy then ever.

I've been waiting to see the OVA but I have yet to see it for sale anywhere, either import or domestic. The ending may have been weak, but I don't recall there being a cliffhanger at the end of the series. What did you feel was a cliffhanger?

Well it was a cliffhanger for me, because i didn't know if Integra was going to drink Alucard's blood or not and become a vampire. Plus i was wondering what happened to Walter did he die or live and also was Victoria still under Alucard's contorl or sence she drank some of his blood was she free. That's was i mean i guess it wasn't a cliffhanger more of unanswered questions that's all.
