These are some render shots of my intermediate modeling midterm. I was actually really happy with how this project came out. This is a different version than the one I submittedfor midterm. I had a rusty shader and had the car positioned in front of a busted barn just for a whole dirty abandoned car look. But this shader looks much better. I used this version in my 3d Animation final.Programs used: Maya 8.5

If you ever do decide to try 3d modeling, the actual technical part of it is pretty easy. The maya interface is pretty intense when you first open it, but it all actually makes a lot of sense and is incredibly easy to navigate. The people who have a real leg up in modeling are those who have a very strong traditional drawing background.
