Description
This was a quick sculpt done for a gaming related art contest on PS3trophies.org. This is Lulu from Final Fantasy X. I think the character design was done by Tetsuya Nomura for that one. Anywho, Base mesh done in Autodesk Maya 2008, and sculpt done in Pixologic ZBrush 3.1.Related content

Nicely done, all the belts around her legs look they would be a pain to make.

Thank you. They weren't that bad. There actually are only four types I believe. I just had to duplicate them and form them around curves that I set up around her legs. Most detail work, especially with architecture is just clever duplication with 3d modeling applications.

Wow, you've gotten quite good with this computer generated stuff while you were away. Awesome work here.

They were created plane by plane for basic placement. Then I attached the base of the planes to the skull with maya's 'make surface live' tool. I extruded the edges of the planes for the more straight strands and extruded along cv curves for the more complex ones.
