Description
I removed my previous version of this picture simply because it wasn't finished yet. I just tinkered with a few things, but it really doesn't look much better. I did this for an Image Manipulation assignment. Anyway, DO NOT FULL VIEW. This picture is ginormous. Again, this is Ruliya of Perla from Aqua Knight by Yukito Kishiro.Related content

I'm still trying to figure out how to get a better color transition though.

blend........ what u do is blur the f**ker up where it is blending and use the idrop tool to get the middle blend tone ... basicly idrop as hell and use soft brush with an opacity 70%

I understand that part. I do that with anime style coloring. I'm talking about a different kind of blend for more of a fantasy type drawing.

Yeah. I want to be able to get the realistic look similar to dragonlance art.

Ahhhhhh...the wonders of photoshop. The background took me about 5 minutes. It's just one solid color and I placed Noise, Crystallization, Median, Ripple Distortion, and Gaussian Blur Filters to create it. The bubbles on the background were a bit more tedious than that. They took a long time to figure out.
