Thank you. You can actually see a little bit of line variation if you consider the line density of the circles versus a circle-through-a-circle versus the outline of the object. Honestly, if I were to draw this again, I would play around with lines a whole lot more!

Haha yay, I noticed something good then :3 My knowledge of art isn't that great - art lessons at my school were not beneficial in any way, so I've just tried to teach myself - of which I just draw lol.

I started out self taught (I pretty much ended up that way too) but classes helped me learn to appreciate styles and subjects I would have otherwise dismissed.
Classes have also helped me learn to identify what subject matter appeals to me. Now and then I will deviate from what I like to challenge myself or otherwise amuse myself with something different but I always come back to what truly compels me

I tried classes once when I had some free time, between looking for jobs, and I actually did a traditional soft pastels course, they're a bit like chalk, although I'm sure you've heard of them. It was really invigorating to try something out that I'd normally never thought of doing. Soft pastels are beautiful! Just very messy

Oh yes; I've experimented with pastel (both soft and oil). The soft pastels were far too messy for myself and I found, with oil pastel, that I could not be as detailed as I usually am. Typically, I like drawing complicated, detailed themes but I've been trying to vary that from piece to piece

-looks sick- You captured this extremely well...including the alien sticky disgust that is the Salmon Roe. Have you ever eaten one? Those things pop in your mouth and the flavor...well....I can only imagine this is what it is like to give a fish a BJ. LOL

It doesn;t look wonderful. It looks freakish....which is why I wanted to try it. XD And then the taste was a thousand times more unappealing than the flavor. I admit, it is pretty if you don't conceive of eating the thing. D: And it cost be $15 too and I couldn't eat the second one as the first one was making me turn green.
