Description
Astraal is an NPC from our Star Wars Edge of the Empire campaign. She had a brief, ill-fated business partnership with our resident con artist and smuggler, Lars . For the first time in his life, he actually fell in love, but she was on the run from her own past trauma, and she stole their ship to pay off a debt to Black Sun. He's been chasing her ever since, partly out of anger, and partly because he can't get over her.

You seem to be very talented at drawing and skilled in the use of Photoshop, and created a well lit and beautiful character and scene. But you probably asked for comments to see potential areas for improvement. A good picture can tell a story better than a hundred words. But it is possible only if you have that much story to tell. Twi'lek swindlers with debt-related problems are almost stereotypical, how they use their charms (and sexuality) and similar parts of the story are very common.
What we see here is an unusual (for twi'lek) choice of clothes and jewelry. I think it doesn't fit too closely with their cultures, but it is good if you want to emphasize how she is a bit unusual with this. She has plenty of jewelry, some furs, and other riches, while she has to steal to pay her debts. She seems to be addicted to things she can't afford, and she is willing to sacrifice the well being (and maybe the life) of others to maintain her lifestyle. Maybe that is how and why she got into debt because for her money is easy to get but even easier to spend and lose as she has many plans to get money at the expense of others. So she can be a very good villain in a long term campaign.Β
I think this picture tells this part of the story but I would try to add subtle clues about what kind of dangers she represents. Your smuggler Lars is probably already addicted to danger and adrenaline, which can make a very dangerous woman even more tempting for him, and I would try to put more emphasis on that area.Β

Astraal is still kind of shrouded in mystery in our game. Like many twi'lek women, she was enslaved at one point, but eventually escaped and became a gambler/smuggler. For a while, she lived a high risk lifestyle, trying to outrun her past. She discovered that a faction of Black Sun researchers were working on a memory altering drug, and she volunteered herself as a test subject. She believes that drug therapy might be the answer to overcoming her trauma. Unfortunately, the Black Sun doesn't give out drugs for free.
This drawing is supposed to represent how Lars sees Astraal: as an alluring swindler whose life is otherwise empty. Whether his conception of her is true or not remains to be seen.
