Description
My Submission to for week 51 - "Rule 63."I drew a few fellow ponies from the ATG IRC as their rule 63 counterparts. I decided to go with a minimal direction with this one. Trying to emulate is hard. :^/

A few quick comments:
- Lines:
- These lines are super crisp. Even in the thumbnail it was really apparent and striking. I love it!
- The varying line color/density used in the manes really helps keep them contained and gives each pony a well defined silhouette. The effect really works well.
- I love the pencil-like style on it, especially the hash shading. Defining each stroke in the shading I suspect is helping that crisp feel that the main lines have.
- Composition and Layout:
- There's one spot under colt*Amyee's neck that I can't work out what the occluding item is, and because of it, it took me a few extra moments to realize he was lying on his back.
- The negative space in the image leaves it a bit unclear to me what the focus of the image is.
- Anatomy:
- CS's right (bottom) hoof is a bit off in that the hoof would be pointed rather then square, sticking strictly to show style.
- Kits' right heel is a bit thin.
- The previous two comments withstanding, the anatomy and proportion is stellar; it really stands out in my mind like the lines do.
