Personality
Abyss investigates the eldritch and horrific with a chipper attitude. Abyss is really curious about becoming eldritch themselves, and their curiosity often goes astray. Gets excited by things that would make most pokemon terrified.

History
Abyss was born in Kanto. When they were young a gastly pranked them while he was playing with their siblings. Their siblings were scared, but Abyss was just so interested in the gastly. Where did it come from? What was it? How could it phase through stuff? Abyss began wandering into Lavender town and pokemon tower. They investigated the entire place. The place was spooky and mysterious at first, but after a while it ended up just being a bunch of dead pokemon and ghost types. Abyss began growing bored now that they knew everything. They needed something new to learn. They snuck onto a boat they assumed would lead out of Kanto, and rode it to the Ishho region.

A whole new region to explore, Abyss caught wind of shadow pokemon. What were they? How were they made? How could Abyss become one? As Abyss grew and evolved into Vileplume, they would pester wild shadow pokemon and try to sneak into their groups, to many confused and angry responses.

Everything was going fine until some rangers just had to mess everything up. They caught Abyss trying to sneak off with some shadow pokemon. Abyss was sent into the adoption center for “rehabilitation”. Abyss didn’t understand it, somehow repeatedly telling them that all of their interests were wrong was less dangerous than becoming an awesome eldritch being? At least a Zephyr finally got them out of there.

Quirks
*Stays up late, sleeps in late. Doesn’t feel fully awake until the sun’s gone down.
*Creepypastas make the best bedtime stories.
*Occasionally gets lost in thought and wanders.
*Loves horror movies
