This one is old, and kind of embarrassing now actually.

Anyway, the idea was that the snail is a girl that the character, who clearly has his own problems, is infatuated with/lusting after, and she just keeps moving towards the area on top of the wall which is crumbling away, and at the final second he reaches around with the net and catches her.
