Still needs a lot of work before I would call this finished though.
In answer to some of the qustions, this took around 10 weeks to produce on top of other uni projects and lectures.
Yes, the hat uses bump mapping, as does the facial hair.
All the clothing is rather rushed in all honesty, the textures on the coat are just tilable place holders and the hat needs to be re-textured as it's just made of a few badly aligned photographs.
I'm planning on re-doing all the clothing in terms of textures, based on high-resolution photographs of my clothes.
Eventually i'll model the legs and build in some facial controls to allow for some facial expressions. Should make it look more natural.

The textures of the Jacket could (should) be better. There are also some rendering-artefaktes...

Love the details, the texturing is very clear and realistic and the modelling is brilliant!
Although, there are a few artifacts, the cloth needs more texturing, and the bump-map on the hat makes it look too shiny, also, looks a little bit too blurry (or maybe its just me...).
But apert all this, you've done an amazing job, keep it up
