This one is a gift for my Japanese friend Rotten-Orange

I know, I know it, I have a slightly macabre humor, treating about a friend I should wish the best thing for her. And it's true. The modern interpretation of the Joker, as made famous by the late Heath Ledger, is a chilling villain. How can you predict or prevent what someone like him, who only lives to see the world burn, is going to do? Really, it's almost endearing in a world dominated by materialism to have someone like him that just wants to rip it all apart. Anarchist or Deconstructionist? Either way, you could argue he is really an artist, at work delving into the core fear of humanity that is based on control and order. And relishing in their suffering.
The reason I like this photo is that you don't take any of what I just said into account when you see it. His expression is akin to cartoons where you see someone eager with anticipation in a very child-like way. Yeah, ok, there's a bomb. However, you think it'll somehow backfire like in the cartoons. In contrast, you have the serene pretty smile of the girl in front and it makes for a classic, perhaps dark, endearing piece of art.

Hi Litreviper, I'm sorry for the long delay in answer this comment. It has been almost two years, but I remember that your comment was pending of reply. I always try to answer all messages I get although I know is not always possible to do so since I get a lot every day, but in this case, it's hard to forget something that has caught your attention, and this comment was that thing.
I love your comment because you've analyzed very well all I wanted to convey and show in this picture. Usually few people realizes about the details which you have noticed, so in the same way that you admire my picture, I will admire your sense of observation
The point is, not even myself could have expressed in that great way the opinion that I have both the Joker as my picture itself (and also basically because I can't express very well my ideas in English, I must say, since isn't my native language XD).
It's pretty that people could appreciate such things and all the dedication that you invert in a work like this.
