I wish I could afford to sell at the DragonCon artshow again! Money is so crazy tight I can hardly even afford to restock prints, let alone purchase matting, backing boards and bags, and shipping fees on top of it.

Well, I'll be watching to see if you ever make it back. I would have a field day with your prints! I buy most of my copious amounts of art at the Con. This year I'm going to NYCC to meet Brom again, and hope I get a couple more original sketches.
I totally get the money thing...we're all in that boat pretty much. And matting/framing is CRAZY expensive. I should start a home business. 
Good luck with the money situation. I hope you make it BIG someday. You have all the talent to do so.

oh wow. Simply beautiful! I love the wisps of white curls created by Nimri's hair. I can tell a lot of passion went into this. Everything just gels! Job well done using media you're not entirely familiar with either. That's quite the lovely mix of contrast and subtle gradient. Might have to give it a shot sometime, myself!

Sharpies are fun to work with, but I warn that they fade fairly easily into a weird purple-ish tone. But it works so well with your style! And the fact you did this in just two days astounds me.
