Wow, this is old. It seems all of my more adventurous artwork came from 2003... ^__^; I'll try to be more spontaneous like this again, I promise!But anyway, I needed something random to practice my Prismacolor pencils on back then, and this was the result. I chose darker, moth-like colors because I didn't want your average bright-pink-happy fairy.
Gave the original of this to Brian Froud when I first met him at FaerieWorlds!

Her coloring reminds me of a frog one might find hoping around their yard if they had a pond nearby. Very earthy and rich. Beautiful for practice!
