Lovely illustration, it makes me want to grab up that book. Nice capture of the snow-dance, and the two tiny female portraits are a nice touch.

I am envious of your drawing and painting skills. I can hardly draw anything beyond stick figures and abstracts. Even then, my abstracts are worthless.

The two figures at the top are a nice touch, as are the butterflies flying around the central figure. There is certainly more to this than meets the eye. If I saw this image on a book cover, I am certain that I would pick it up.

And I do hope you get your stories published - and I also hope that your art appears on the covers.

nice pic! not sure about the legs/feet though, but then i can hardly talk feet are liek ... wtf hard. you should check our hiroaki samura's work. Now HE knows had to do feet. Who else has the skills to storytell through feet alone? hohoho
