What would happen if the TARDIS randomly landed in the Forest of Illusions and The Doctor met Faeren? Probably this. XDA collection of related doodles that I shoved together and digitally spiffified. And yes, that is a giant TARDIS standup in my jungle/livingroom.

I want to say that the 8th Doctor had a butterfly room in his TARDIS,and he really love his butterfly collection.The room had montains and trees and he usually went in there to enjoy the company of them.When he got hurt,he would go there,too,but then the butterfly couldn't realize it was him so they wouldn't go near him.
Once a big butterfly stayed on 8th's nose.That's really fun.

When was this? The 8th Doctor only had a movie and audio plays that I'm aware of.

And many novels.The Eighth Doctor Adventures mainly,some short trips.So the BF Audio named the series 'The New Eighth Doctor Adventures'.Some of them are brilliant!I read about ten.My favourate so far is 'Alien Bodies'.
The butterfly room is mentioned in several novels and the first and the most detailed one is in 'Vampire Science' which I score 89 out of 100(in DW novels).I think the classic DW novels are much better than the new series ones,maybe it's just because in the ten years between the TV movie and the new series they had a lot of time and brilliant writers to do it.
The BF audio NEDA series were short(less than 1h each).I think the excellent ones are the Monthly Released ones which are at least 90min each.Though maybe it's because I only listened to the first series of NEDA and personally I like detailed stories better.
Really recommend you to read 'Alien Bodies' & 'Vampire Science'.The former contains so much,such as adventure, TARDIS-TL emotions and something thoughout the Doctor travelling days.The latter one is a first class adventure and involve some social problems.My English skills are just not enough to express myself properly...
