Do you use refrences for your wings? Just curious because they are some of the more realistic and better draw ones I've seen. I'm tryig to get better at wings so would apreciate any tips. Thanks.

No, just what I've learned. My style isn't exactly realistic, it's more fluffy and hair-like than feather like. All you have to do is learn the basic structure of wings and the wingbones underneath, and you can fashion your own.

*chuckles* Thanks. I got bone structure for both bat and bird like wings down good (is a bone nut)... its how the feathers/membrane hangs on them that I always mess up. Ah well. I'll keep practiceing. ^_^
