This has always been a favourite of mine since I saw it over at Elfwood quite a while ago. I am so pleased to have found it here.
It's just a stunning piece of raw emotion that you can just stare at for hours and still find things to be in awe about. It's just wonderful.

This is so tragic...with looking at the picture and then reading your comments on the piece, its so sad and its almost like you can feel Faeren's pain at losing his friend. I love the hint of the wings..they're an amazing touch. Keep up the great work!!

i love this, and i'm glad its in pencil. if it were colored, there would be nowhere near the same effect. This ROCKS. the emotion is so tangible, i love the rough shading. the whole thing is amazing..
